Sports Buzz: Aggressive D Next Year?

LMAO at this post by Golden's friend. Holy **** you can't be serious.

GardenState, huh? You're not biased, seeing as you came from the same hellhole that produced the current pair of dip****s running our program into the ground.

For the last week, you've been acting like an emotional woman posting the dumbest comments and not backing anything you say (or shout) with any facts or analysis.

Oh cool, the "rah-rah fan" in its natural habitat. An idiot so stupid that he believes blindly supporting anything going on with the program is what makes you a "fan." The fact that your two sweaty fat ******** from Jersey are routinely placing an awful team on the field is what is steering the discussion on this board. People are not being negative for no reason. This is a message board to discuss the team, it just so happens this team spent three weeks ****ting its pants and showing no improvements from last season. If reading the reality about your pals makes you get emotional, maybe you should avoid Canes' boards until those lowlifes are back coaching linebackers at some high school in Hoboken.

Next, me not posting facts? I've done nothing but provide statistics when showing just how bad Dorito has been.

Here's just one such topic. Please, click it and enjoy it while ******* your own face.

Golden inherited a program that 1. always trails behind State schools because it is a private institution and lacks money and resources in comparison. 2. Had 2 previous back to back Head Coaches that were so bad it might be justifiable to charge them criminally for their ineptitude and neglect regarding this program. 3. Inherits the 2009/2010 joke of a class (particularly defensively) followed up with only having a month to scrape to complete the 2011 class that Randy just abandoned. 4. Gets hit with sanctions which act like probation on this program for the last 2 1/2 years (ask yourself if we get an additional 4/8 blue chippers over the last 2 years if those sanctions aren't there; I say we would have). 5. Worst fan base in America period.

Looks like someone attended Al Golden's 8 Pillars of Excuses Seminar. Good for you. Type all the bull**** you want, but none of it changes the fact that his team is showing no improvement, and him and his friend are setting records for some of the worst defensive performances in Miami Hurricanes history. I'm sure the only reason we're surrendering almost 500 yards a game in conference play is due to the fact that the defense is unable to focus; they're too busy thinking about how much more of a profit UF made than us in 2012.

You know why the white QB for Duke - the one who spends his offseason asking people if they've accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and savior yet? The reason he looked like Tim Tebow against us was because Chickillo and Porter were busy arguing over what we could do to improve our athletic department's revenue.

So despite your Goldenesque onslaught of excuses, the fact remains: in year 3, this team had two chances to win the Coastal and they were humiliated in both games. Both offenses they faced ranked near the 100s and they tore this defense a new *******. But let's throw Golden a parade because he voluntarily took a promotion and a pay raise to a new program. I'd like to see a coach that inherits a perfect situation when taking over for a fired coach at a new school. If the situation was all roses, there wouldn't have been a change.

You all should be thanking this man for sticking it through, but instead, Miami fans do what they always do... Grab the pitchforks and throw them at the nearest scapegoat.

Oh, I thank the good Lord every night before I go to bed. Without Golden, how else would we be setting program worsts in a litany of statistical defensive categories? How else would we be able to lose back-to-back games that were for the Coastal title in his third year? How else would we be able to trust the process and deserve victory without him? You think any other old coach could just waltz in here and manage to not even accidentally bring in a DT worth a **** in three years? You show me a coach that would lose to Duke and thank his team for working hard all week. Cuz I wanna see that guy, a guy with that kind of character and strength. You can't show me that guy. You know why? He doesn't exist. Al Golden is a ******* saint.

Thank you, Golden, for making almost 3 million dollars a year. It's a miracle he stayed here with the USCs, Ohio States, and Alabamas banging on his door to hire him. We should all be thankful that Golden chose Miami to continue his sub-par career as a head coach.

Name 1 coach out there that you would replace Golden with? Name 1 DC that is good enough that would make Golden change his defensive philosophy. There are none.

There's a character limit on posts here. Sorry.

I root for the program's success, not two lumpy pieces of human waste destroying this team. Produce or leave.

I advise you to walk outside, pick up brick by brick, and repeatedly smash them directly into your face.

I'm just quoting this because honestly, it needs to be posted more than once. Matter of fact, I'm tempted to take it and copy/paste it in every thread on the front page.

D'Onofrio lost his job LAST WEEK. Why do people keep harping on it? D'Onofrio WILL NOT be part of the staff next year. Can we move on to another topic. Despite what Golden says, D'Onofrio is no longer a long-term employee of UM. He will depart after the bowl game. We are stuck with him until mid-January.

Does Golden have a successor picked out yet?

Let us wager. I am willing to bet $500 a poster, up to $5,000 total. I will send DMoney a check and he can place it on escrow. If Spring ball starts and D'Onofrio is here, then I lose. If he is no longer the DC, I win. They may keep him to National Signing Day but he will be gone by Spring ball.

You guys like to pontificate. Put some cash down. I am up to $5,000 total. You seem confident, so do I, so we will wager. Let me know who is in!
So essentially you are saying you don't know ****.

This guy might be a legit porster. Look at his predictions for our sanctions. We're looking at a legit insider folks.

Bad. Really bad. I think that UM ends up in a lawsuit.

I could see limiting us by 10 scholarships per year over 3 years. We would have to appeal because we have 26 commits; however, we are playing with 75 right now. It would mean being able to offer 15 scholarships during February 2015 and February 2016. We would be losing roughly 25 players each year, so in our worst year, we would be at 65 players.

No additional bow bans, though. Sounds like Golden already knows that (i.e. see his recent comments).

Give it up already with the fire D'Onofrio non sense. He is not going anywhere, nor should he

.

You exemplify everything that is wrong with the Miami Hurricanes fan base. For the last week, you've been acting like an emotional woman posting the dumbest comments and not backing anything you say (or shout) with any facts or analysis.

There is nothing wrong with criticizing the staff, but this blood lust for D'Onofrio and Golden is very poorly thought out and juvenile. Name 1 coach out there that you would replace Golden with? Name 1 DC that is good enough that would make Golden change his defensive philosophy. There are none.

So WhatTheHell, do me a favor and take that tampon and pull it out and just calm down. You are proof that Posts do not equal credibility.

A whole lot what you say is true. But throwing out the old "Worst fan base" is just crap. That horrible fan base provided the background, noise and terror for the longest home winning streak in college history--beating Bama's own under the Bear. Our fans and the OB provided a killing field for some of the greatest players ever. There is nothing wrong with our fan base that winning will not fix. How full has the Swamp been lately? Were we wrong hunting for Coker's head of Randy's. If anything we were late on both. Most of us understand recruiting weakness is and has been the biggest problem, particularly at DT. Our problem is that given that known weakness, a DC making 500K a year should be able to devise a D that can hold SOMEONE, ANYONE to less than 500 yards. And when that 500K DC happens to be the BFF of the HC, you better believe the heat is hotter. Bobby Bowden crippled his tenure not by having a OC that sucked, by that OC being his frigging son and sucking and refusal to take action.

I agree we are lucky to have Al. But that is because of his recruiting, and CEO skills. His defense and his DC do not appear such stroke of luck.

I agree with what you are saying for the most part, but we have to have a sense of perspective when judging this staff. This program has been neglected for a decade before Golden got here. The cupboard is bear. There is very little to work with.

Most fans on the site that I post on thought we would go 8-4/9-3 type season and they were right (the homer in me made me go 11-1). We got sucked into the hype machine this year sitting at 7-0 when we really had no business being there.

Again, look this roster up and down... Peel the onion and be honest about what you find there. Most of our play makers on both sides of the ball are underclassmen. We are doing a lot with smoke and mirrors. This team needs a year or 2 more worth of U-tough and top classes before we contend and stay there.

These guys dont want to admit that 9 out of 11 guys on defense are jags..some of them candidates for WOAT in the modern era...lets recap

D Line
Pierre - JAG, cant remember the last time he made a play on the other side of the line of scrimmage.
Robinson - Cry Baby Faucking JAG. Dad is probably going ham on the sports radio when his son doesnt get drafted at all.
Porter - Jag (closest thing to a non jag on the front 4)
Chickallo - Jag -- Tries hard, has a hurricane heart but still just a jag. Wish i had a dollar for every play this DE has lost contain on or been outrun to the corner

LBs

Jimmy Gaines - Jag of the year, right up there with Glenn Cook for WOAT
Perryman - 1 of our two best D players who gets lost in the wash because our d line gets pushed back 5 yards into him.
Cornelius - Jag - No Instinct and slow as molasses

Secondary

Rogers - WOAT The team has run out of jocks, rogers lost them all over the past 2 years.
Highsmith - WOAT Cant wait till i never have to see these guys again.
Gunter - Serviceable but not a rock star by any stretch. 4.58 40 at UM playing CB...hmmm
Tracy - Star in the making.

Nute Faucking Rockney would have a hard time coarching up that D line and LB corp. He couldnt do sh$t with Rogers & Highsmith.

I hate D'Nofrio like a lot, but this is not just on him. This years graduating class will be a huge addition by subtraction, mark my words...and that goes for Snickers Happy Feet Morris as well.
