But CJ is 100% an option. Maybe not THE option but IMO the most likely option. The eyes are set on 2 guys that can go to the NFL.

Seems like both to me. Syracuse didn’t do anything special. Barely any shifts or motions. They lined up and beat us in 1v1. They picked on our best corner more than anyone else.. because they could and he’s just not very good.

But at the same time, it’s 3rd and 8 and you blitz a safety instead of giving a true freshman corner some help and they just throw a jump ball and the blitz was pointless. We sat in man coverage and didn’t mix anything else in and just let them attack us.

The only solution is scrap the DC and add as many proven college DBs to the room as you can find. No one should be safe, OJ included.

yes. OJ has looked good because of lack of targets and how bad everyone else is. He needs to get stronger too.

Jaden Harris is the worst. there are plays he stands and watches CB's instead of getting involved.

Ewers is going to the NFL IMO.

Don’t think he’s welcome back at Texas. They’re ready to turn it over to Arch

I’ve been thinking most of the season that Arch was going to be their guy next season.

If Ewers gets a bad NFL grade I have to imagine Mario tries to overpay him to come here for 1 year. While of course not Cam Ward, he would be the kind of flashy name to get the offseason going in a positive direction. Looking at his 2024 stats and knowing that he missed a couple of games and sat out at the end of a couple of blowouts, we could do a lot worse.
