Sooo, what’s next?

Back to the drawing board:

- Sign a good Portal QB
(Yes, there will be good QB's in the Portal. I know a lot of you can't think past the next 15 seconds, but I promise you, between December - Feb/March there will be MULTIPLE good starting caliber QB's in the Portal)

- Sign a Portal WR

- Go absolutely nuclear on the Secondary
[Bring in as many DB's as you can find. Do not settle & do not recycle another teams trash just because they happen to be from South FL]

- Hire a new DC

- Add more DLine depth, particularly at DT.

- Decide what the plan is at LB;
Either go with the youth movement & play all Soph's, Red FR & True FR's, or hit the Portal & find two vet LB's who can actually tackle in space.

- Keep Dawson's Creek
[Despite the hate he keeps getting on the board, he's a very good OC. Unless Mario is going to fully immerse into the Shriners Temple of the Nobles of the Masonic Air Raid Lodge, keeping Dawson for continuity sake is actually a good idea. It will help sell the next Portal QB on Miami being a destination spot & we know the production will be there if we have an adequate passer.

It will also be crucial & beneficiary for the young WR Corps to stay in this same system.]

Last but certainly not least...

- Cam McCormick.

Miller Moss at QB worked great for me in CFB25

But can any of this actually get done if the money is drying up as Jay and a few others are saying is happening? If boosters are out after 10-2 we're screwed.

Man with the portal, NIL etc. it’s impossible to say who is going to be good or bad 9 months from now. These rosters are changing from year to year on every team. You can literally bring in however many new players you can afford to pay for and have a completely different team. So this ish really up in the air. We can’t say we’re going to be good or bad YET!

Season 5 Nbc GIF by The Office

STOP, go to bed.
The game is over and the season is over.

If you want to tune into the CarQueif bowl on Dec 26th to watch Emory Williams and Puffenbugger lead a undisciplined, uninspired, lethargic group of second stringers wearing U stickers on the side of their helmet, only to get their teeth kicked in by Wisconsin, be my guest.
sorry to say, but season is over my guy.

I very seriously doubt anyone knows how much money is actually being allocated & divvied up for each season as it pertains to Portal & recruiting.

Message board speculation isn't a representation of what's actually happening in real life. Hyper reactions from jaded fans will always err on the side of caution.

Miami made more money this season as a program as it has in over a decade. When Miami makes money, the boosters make money. When the boosters make money, they reinvest back into the program.

The money isn't going anywhere; we have it, have had it & will always have it.

That's the least of our worries.

today was the start of the end of Mario. Most of the idiots in this fanbase are too dense to understand that but it absolutely was. Next year will be 7-5 and then they will finally understand. Forever late to the party
I knew when it was over with richt and Diaz. The writing is on the wall here I don’t know why it’s a tougher pill to swallow.

It’s much more than just Guidry
It is what it is, bruh. If they need to go, they need to go. Tell em to pack they ****. I refuse to believe that we're this bad, talent wise, on the defensive side of the ball. We've managed to fucc up a generational offense by pairing it with this abortion of a defensive unit this year.

He would be like Plan C, I would hope to get someone better but he’s a competent starting QB. He has about 11 starts under his belt 3,200 passing yards 29 Total TDs 10INTs. This season he had 2,550 passing yards 20 Total TDs 9INTs.

I pray you're right. I don't care how good of a recruiter Mario is, if the cash dries up we're cooked. Seems like $15 to $20 mil per season is going to have to be the norm.

I’d prefer not to do the Ohio st thing and make it public. It hurts less not knowing the real number.
