look I don't know if any of these kids are shopping themselves or not. I personally don't buy into rumors that don't have any real facts or teeth to em. But to say one guy isn't getting bought bc they didn't buy other guys last year is ridiculous. I found an old school Alabama forum with some old money boosters on there talking about Ole Miss this year and they were saying, don't they know how ya do it. Ya buy one or two big ones and then lay off for a year unless there is a difference maker and then ya pull the trigger. It was sickening and hilarious at the same time. But it was pretty much the playbook for SEC recruiting. If ya don't wanna get caught ya pick and choose when to go get em.

So now the rb that is rated the 18th best prospect in the entire country by ESPN, the RB who when Central switched to having both RB's on the field at the same time they went with him to handle the ball at every snap, now is nowhere near the level of Cook, and is not even close to Sony? All I know is that there are about a 100 team across the country that would lover to have a top 20 overall player like yearby. This has gotten ridiculous, we have one of the best 20 players in the country and everyone can only talk about Sony and Cook. F*ck them if they don't come. I won't them just just as muck as the any Cane fan, but I can also acknowledge that we have a very special running back coming in next year regardless.

Well this person also told me that Sony doesn't want to deal with the recruiting circus from now through his season, so committing now could take some of the hype away. Obviously coaches will still be calling him, but all in all he could focus more on his season. Wouldn't have to deal with as many interviews and all that.

So basically he is either picking UGA this week which will lead to a meltdown and he 'MIGHT' pick us after the season or he is picking UM to keep the local pressure off but his commitment doesnt mean **** because he will open back up after the season. So in summary....we cant ******* win.

After the spring, it looks like Carter will be a player. So if you want to say he is MAYBE better than the worst WR on our team, who happens to be a redshirt freshman, than ok. But lets be clear....you are only offering him to get his brother...not because of his skills.
