That being said, YEARBY YOU ARE THE ******* MAN brotha. Maybe get your boy Dalvin to hop on board and lets get this thing going. Even without Dalvin Yearby is going to be a baller for us especially with our INSANELY BEAST OL in the trenches. Those guys are going to create some serious holes for you to burst through Yearbs and I hope you're pumped.

Lets not fool ourselves, Yearby is the real deal so stop ******* disrespecting him and start praising him and giving him props for being on board. Seriously, before starts to think twice if he realizes how ******* dumb the majority of our fanbase is.

When Alex Collins chose Arkansas over us I immediately wish him the worst, and if Michel does the same, I will immediately wish him the worst as well. **** these SoFla kids that have NO LOYALTY to their hometown and the players that came before them. This is a direct slap in the face to Duke, Deon, Tracy, Malcolm and the rest of the guys who chose to rep their city thinking the guys that come after them would help them.

This would be such a disappointment, especially when it's clear we're on our way back to national relevance.

Lol there just 16-17 year old kids. Would you want someone to wish bad upon your kid? Have you ever been through the recruiting process? These kids have their future to think about. Quite a few of these kids don't come from the best or even normal circumstances either. Nt saying that's sonys situation, but it does happen. They want to help their parents out, so they don't have to struggle anymore or live paycheck to paycheck. You talk about loyalty. Family comes first. UM wouldn't give a single **** about Sony if he couldn't carry a football. As well as the rest of these colleges recruiting these KIDS. Family comes first. Whichever college is going to provide the best option to get these kids developed for the pro level as well as providing a comfortable environment is the one they will choose. That "hometown" thing is great. BUT really do these kids owe absolutely nothing to anyone besides their parents or legal guardian and a couple of people who may have helped them out.

How the f*ck is he going to be a Cane at heart if he's going to play for UGA ?

Dude loves the Canes, but he's got to do what's best for himself and his family.

Anyway he said himself he would always be a Cane fan no matter where he goes to school

Come on man for you and me it's about being a fan, for Sony it's about a lot more than putting a hat on. Football is what he's going to do for a living, and he needs to make an adult decision together with his family. Not to mention this situation with his brother, and I'm not sure if that impacts things but if it does, blood is always thicker than water.

So just put things in perspective.

Canes have more players in the NFL despite being down for the last few years. Canes have a beast 2014 OL class already lined. The depth chart is prime for him.

I'm not going to say anything bad about the kid if he ends up at Georgia, just that he isn't a true Canes fan like a guy like Duke. Duke walked into a worse situation then Sony would be walking into.his future looks pretty bright

I don't think it's over who ever he chooses on Friday

I understand what you're saying but if you're saying family comes first, which is totally right, then wouldn't these SoFla kids wanna be near them and let their families be there to support them in the most important years of their life (assuming these kids are using their college educations as a stepping stone to professional football careers and income for their families). And you're right, UM wouldn't give a single **** about Sony if it weren't for football, but neither would any other college thats recruiting him. The numbers done lie, and Miami just has an overall tendency to put players in the NFL. No matter how bad we are, kids just become ready for the NFL because of the pressures they are put under in the Miami media.

Maybe I just have orange and green glasses, and while I understand the SEC is the best conference in the country, I still believe that Sony's best interests lie with Al Golden and the Miami Hurricanes (see Malcolm Lewis incident). Al Golden is in it for the long haul and has a deep passion for winning, but an even deeper desire to see his players grow into men and succeed. If my child was getting recruited by these head coaches, I would 100% have the faith and confidence to turn my child over to Al Golden and have him continue to raise him. Al get the bigger picture (cue Al Golden .gif plz). As I said, maybe I'm wearing orange and green glasses, but I truly believe that Miami puts Sony in the best position to succeed as both a football player and a person.

Maybe I am just a biased diehard, or maybe I am right. Just kidding because I am both.

Constantly on campus, life long "fan"

Best O line in the country

Could play with Duke and Yearby

Could play in front of his family instead of making them take the long *** drive

And yet he is going to pick Georgia

Recruiting is some **** huh

obviously we know that but we don't see whats going on secretly between UGA and Sony.... It just seems shady a kid can be on UM campus that many times and know he will play next year and most likely start his soph year like Miller but hey it's RB like I said they don't make the difference for a overall team.. DT,CB,QB those are the most important positions on a team. If we get Clark,Gilliard,Valentine,Lammons even half those guys this board slowly and slowly forgets about Sony.. Especially if Cook gives UM a chance to flip him he already said UM will be in his final three with UF and Clemson.

You never know what other factor$ are in play when it is an $EC school or F$U or Clem$on. These last two have played the game $EC-like for years.

can tell you right now that its UGA but would have been UM if not for some...implications (his brother)

So they're willing to take his brother as a transfer who will never play anything but special teams at UGA? Why doesn't the kid stay at UMass where he will be able to play?

Now, I could see it if it were money, illegal it might be. But a lot of poorer families from south Florida would certainly fiind an extra $20K or so enticing. (Don't know what the going $EC rate is for 5 star running backs these days, maybe it's more.)

Gotta wonder about this guy Richt. UM graduate, but something made me wonder about him and his character. He was suspended, I think, after the FSU game his senior year and never regained the starting QB position. Instead, they went with a redshirt freshman, Kyle Vandeweghe. Why did this guy not get back his starting position? All the years he was in the college coaching ranks, why did he never spend any time at UM as a grad assistant, assistant, or when we needed a head coach, was he not a serious candidate for head coach? Became an FSU guy. Everytime I heard his speak, he had what seemed like a put-on southern accent. Did he have a real southern accent at UM? He was from Broward County for chrissakes! Was he another one of those (and I've met some) who put on a fake southern accent to fit in with the good ol' boys? (Now, I'm not saying he is not a true southerner, but when I heard him speak a few times on interviews, he sounded like one of those guys who never traveled out of the deep south, yet he was born in Nebraska and played at Bacon Raton Community HS. I felt he was faking it to fit in with his environment. Something just always bugged me about him, maybe it was the fact he became an FSU guy after graduation and never seemed at all interested in joining his alma mater.)

Sony Michel if your anything like myself you stood in front of the television in your tidey widey underwears twirling your orange hanky and watching your favorite team lay the wood against a national power. I did it when I was 7 years old when Melvin Bratton went down with a career altering injury giving all he had to make this []_[] what it is today. 13 years later, I have no doubt Sony, you did the same little dance, then had the same moment of sorrow when Willis McGahee went down in Tempe. I have no doubt in my mind you, Sony, are big as fan as I am of this program. In life people like to say things are "BUSINESS" decisions. Thats a load of ****. Thats what people call it when they sell out. It takes a much bigger man to bring honor back to his house, then to leave when his house is in ruin. I would literally give my left ******** to be able to give the amount of God given talent that you have to the program that we both loved as seven year olds, albeit 15 years apart. Somewhere along the way, you forgot what life is all about young man. I may be 32, and Sony, you may be 17, but one thing translates to all ages and lasts an eternity. A childs love of his home and of his team. Sony, have people in Athens watched you since optimist ball? We have. Have people in Athens cheered you since 8th grade? We have. Have people in Athens stuck by you when you blew your knee up? We have. Did you sit around as a kid shouting at the team you grew to love, our team, your team, South Florida's team? I guarantee you nobody in Athens did. Your decision is yours young man, but just remember whos name you yelled as a little kid as you sprinted toward the makeshift endzone of the tree on the left and the bush on the right. I am willing to bet it wasn't Knowshon Moreno. This is your town, its OUR town, put it back on the map.

Good luck son.

Great post bro!

Yearby is a beast, Sony is a beast, Cook is a beast. If Sony chooses UGA I think Cook flips to us. And even if we are just "left with" Yearby don't forget he is a beast too like those guys. Add another decent RB with Yearby and we are fine. Yearby is not chop liver or second fiddle to these guys. He is a baller too.

So just put things in perspective.

Sorry, but there is nothing "adult" about not going to your "dream school" so that your brother, who already has a scholarship at another school, can get a scholarship at a bigger program (and ride the bench). That wouldn't be adult, that would stupidly putting your dream away so your lesser-achieving brother can play at UGA, which in the long run will make zero difference in his future (which is zero as far as the NFL goes). So either Sony's making a really silly decision if that's the basis, or his brother has nothing to do with it.

I dont think that Sony has anything to do with Cook

lol@ this outside influences ****, why does every fanbase do this when they lose a recruit?

uga has limited schollies and is taking at most 2 receivers, sony'd bro is not going to uga so i don't know where that is coming from. i guess its similar to how cook was supposedly shopping himself, and now that miami is in the picture what, he's suddenly stopped? the **** y'all will say to make yourselves feel better about losing a kid...

Its the easiest fake insider/excuse bull**** to pull off. Guysm, things are going on....I can't say what just saying there's.....

OTHER THINGS.

Its pretty pathetic actually. And you're right, every team has them. Patrick Peterson really opened up the floodgates for every recruit we lose being "paid".
