Sonny Odogwu is a Cane!

1. It's Sonny not Sunny
2. Why do some of you say Sonny is a project? Do you think Golden has the luxury of taking projects.
3. Some of you need to stop getting your hopes up with #6 committing early. He will take his trips.
4. Kirkland same as 3.
5. Grace same as 4.

Yes. One or two if he's got conviction.

Was already a fan of the pickup but this made it certifiable

Sometimes he's got the UTHUG look.

I like the roll of the dice here. If there's a place to try for a big hit, it's at OT. If Seantrel comes back, I like this even more.

I like the kids size. Get him some athleticisim and teach him how to block. Kid could be big time for us in 2 years or so.

well if we're going to play power house football we might as well get some olineman from out of state. south florida doesn't produce those type of lineman..

We have plenty of room to take "projects" on the OL. No OL guys are playing for the next 2-3 years so what does it matter?

Well jerzycane since you know help me then. Sonny is a OT correct? isn't Kirkland a OT as well . also aren't we taking a small class correct

So far, most of Golden's sleepers from the 2012 class have turned out to be good ball players, so I'm not going to complain about the pickup.

They evaluated this kid during the last recruiting cycle, and stayed on him during this one to get the commitment, so they must like what they see.

Just because this kid isn't widely known doesn't make him a bad pickup. Between being a foreigner and a non-qualifier, it makes sense that he's not getting a lot of exposure. At the end of the day you can't teach 6'8" and 300lbs.
