Some Stock Up/Stock Down Imo

For those of you jumping on Alston for the missed sacks, it's fair, but I would ask you all to also get on him for failing to set an edge in the run game. Throw in Baron and anyone else that took snaps at DE on off tackle plays that VT ran all night that we couldn't stop.

Stock up:
Ward
Lyle
I Horton
Arroyo (although many called this)
Lofton
Zach Carpenter - this dude got crushed on the boards all spring and summer, but I could easily make the argument that he has been our second best OL behind only Francis who is a freak.

Stock down:
Markel Bell - maybe not fair at this point, but he looks exactly like what you'd expect a 6'9" 350 pounder to look like coming out of JuCo.
Samson - this dude has portal written all over him
Sam Brown - one big plays does not erase the drops
Fletcher/Martinez
Poff - dude will transfer out (I have no sauce, but you can smell it coming)
Jadais Richard - c'mon man, why we taking DBs from Vandy? Right up there with...
Marley Cook - WTF?
CJ Clark - has he made any plays this year? Real disappointment.
J Horton - if only because he can't get/stay healthy

As I stated back then in April, the decision to only take 1 Corner out the Portal was baffling & would eventually come back to bite us.

Still should have picked up another corner but it was supposed to be D Brown.

Sam Brown also probably had the most difficult catch of the day against VTech on the quick slant he ran where Cam threw the ball like a ******* absolute missile. I think if we throw away game 1 where he was clearly bad, he's been solid. He brings an element we need in this offense too. We just have a good 4 group of WRs. X only comes out when he's tired, The other 3 can all rotate in and out, with hopefully Jojo getting some burn along the way as well.
