Well, where are all the guys claiming that Ryan Williams should start over Morris? Just last spring some of you ppl were claiming Williams would be better than Morris. Now the guy is struggling to hold off Crow. Maybe the staff deserves a little credit on developing Crow and the talent he has. I thought he made some nice throws during the scrimmage and would not be surprised if he took the job next year. If it is Wiliams I am ok with that too as I think he has a great understanding of the offense and knows what it takes to get his guys the ball. But **** next year, how about this year. If SM stays healthy and puts up numbers like he did last year he will be a first round pick. Heck, they are talking about that kid from NCSTATE possibly being a day one pick. I personally love SM's game. Yeah he has stuff to work on, but they are all things that can be taught. He is a smart kid, with a great arm. His progressions are improving, he shows the ability to improve on his weaknesses. I do not get all the negativity in this thread on SM. Crazy mofos in here! Pretty sure he set a record for passing yards in a season... and in a single game..
As for the DL, I think we will be ok this year with the three we have doing well now. I think if those three can stay healthy and we get some occasional reps out of King, Grimble we will be fine there this year. I think this defense will be very good this year. Has anyone seen those recent photos of Bond or Al Queda? Those two are fuggin MONSTERS! I do not think either of those guys will have a hard time playing this year and playing well.
I am feeling really good about this team other than Kicker. Cause I will tell you what, if that O'Donnell kid shows up in orange and green we are SET at punter and Kickoffs for the year. Kicker could end up costing us a lot more than DT will IMO.
