I honestly don't know what F+ is, but they were 22nd this year in scoring points. He was only the playcaller this year.
He also worked wonders with their QB this year

Again, you are just full of it.

Optics? That's what you care about? How about the bad optics of hiring Dan Radakovich, when the entire process was a "****e show" according to sportswriters and mopers? What about the bad optics of hiring Mario Cristobal when we hadn't yet fired Many Diaz, and how Miami was just awful according to sportswriters and mopers?

I don't give a **** about optics, and those who are obsessing about it are being ridiculous. "Tediousness"? Then find something else to do with your life. Oh, sorry, our $8 million per year Head Coach should speed things up to relieve your tedium, right?

You have no idea of the definition of the word condescending. I am not acting like I have any more inside information than anyone else. I am not telling you "relax, babydoll, Mario has already hired his coordinators" and talking down to you because I have knowledge you don't have.

What I AM doing is pointing out the false storylines (Mario took forever to hire coordinators at Oregon, Kendal Briles rejected Miami twice, etc.) and the mindless and childish behavior of people who are insisting that a successful coach change his hiring process to address their insecurities.

That's not condescension. That is Vito Corleone telling Johnny Fontaine that he can act like a man.

Optics. Tediousness. Concerns. How about we judge the hiring when the staff is complete? It's really not too much to ask.
But, but, but we have an Elite Weekend for 2023 prospects in 2 days. No coordinators so we are doomed.

I think the overreaction by some is premature at this point. However, I do agree that this process has taken entirely too long. There are people who have accomplished more in CFB as coaches who make sound decisions faster than Mario has. At some point, it goes from being thorough to being indecisive. The latter is not good for a leader. I will hold off on all other opinions until a hire is actually made.... whenever that is; hopefully in 2022.

Seems to me fans only care about bragging about hiring big name. I want someone effective. Guys like Ponce and Belk i have to study their schemes but if the people who do and know what to look for says they are legit, im fine with it. The energy we need to revive the program, im not sure that upper and coming coordinators wouldn't be the way to go. Hungry guys who bring the juice and ambition to go higher. More than a rethread like Mullen who already made a ton of cash

You really can't engage in an adult conversation without allowing emotion to seep all over the page...I'm wasting my breath.

This has nothing to do with national optics; I've made it quite clear in previous posts I don't care what the national media thinks; now I do care what respected posters on this board with valuable information think, and a few have "joined my side" or whatever you want to call it. But keep ranting away.

Exactly.

Not sure why the mopers have spun this into "slurpers vs. mopers". I'm interested to see Mario's full staff. I'm excited for Elite Weekend. I'm curious to see what other HS recruits we land.

But somehow that makes me an extremist, because I criticize people who repeatedly post massive negativity 10 seconds after every inaccurate media report?

And is our choice really to be agreeable to every mopey ******* on the board?

Since we're going to engage in Frank Ponce conversation...someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Satterfield called plays during their entire tenure at App St. together up until 2018, and then again at Louisville I think Ponce was only QB coach. Was last season at App St his only season calling plays?

@Pentagon Cane - you reference this earlier somewhere about the Hanoi Hilton. Mario would be the main torturer.

@Liberty City El broke
@JayCane20 breaking if it’s Ponce
@SouthParkCane is just looking for a utopia of sloths and video games at this point.
@WeBallinBoyz is just throwing up all over the place

Now Gogeta will take Mullen??? Lol

Dropping like flies around here and signing the paper
Hahaha. It’s getting dicey in here bro. I feel like we are on the front lines picketing for better working conditions and some of our union reps are crossing lines

Hold the line! Just in case, I’m working on contract here for Mullen if we need it

- must be locked up in the film room all week with one day yard privileges to help install plays
- on game day he is only allowed in the booth with his headset (which will be recorded and reviewed for quality assurance purposes)
- will have no contact with recruits or input on our big board
- no pregame/halftime/or postgame interviews with media
- zero access to social media
- wife has zero access to team

I believe so.
