I'm still holding out hope For Sean Lewis. Would be a grandslam hire.
Because the point of offense is to score points. What is your issue with advanced stats over a general “scoring” stat?
Literally just laughed out loud here at work!!Yes, it is slightly pointed towards the Pacific side.
There will be NO Chud .. he isn't interested in an on field coaching role .. his goal these days is a low stress 40 hour work week.Chud or Ponce?
Can you just imagine how forgiving they will be in the season? He will have the longest leash ever****, it’s already happening lol
I'm going to need someone to tie the noose for me if it comes to fruition, would you do the honors sir?****, it’s already happening lol
I would rather have Briles and a bunch of other guys over Ponce. Just to be clear. We have the money for a name brand. If it is Ponce that would actually be pretty hilarious in hindsight...
Considering all the OC’s who were available just a few weeks ago & according to who you believe, we essentially just turned down Kendal Briles...
The most entertaining part will be people suddenly transforming Ponce into the 2nd coming of Jeff Lebby lol
There’s got to be a point where he’s being thorough with this search. What blows my mind is it took until this week to offer the OC position to someone. No reason you couldn’t have made that offer before the New Year. But by waiting, for better or for worse, Briles is off the table. Who knows if he was a legitimate candidate or not, but if he was indecision has played a role in losing that option. There’s also one defensive coach on staff currently. Eventually these kids need to be sold something on the trail.I’m a huge advocate for Mario too…but even LCE, JayCane and SouthPark are getting slightly impatient with this…I think it’s a rational take, but this is America so what do i know
“Trust Mario”If it is Ponce that would actually be pretty hilarious in hindsight...

I had to look back a few times... I saw the first time, I just wanted to look again and use my imagination.Just asking for a friend but is there a camel toe sighting in Costa Rica? Again just asking for a friend...LOL
I will take the Germans and the pointsWorked for the French in WW2.
At this point... just get the Mullet. If it is Ponce that would actually be pretty hilarious in hindsight...

Sure, but your incessant rants directed at posters merely questioning the optics of the hiring process and the tediousness of it all fits entirely into my point; people can't voice concerns without condescending comments from people like you; but that's been your schtick recently.
To each his own; it's nothing personal. We disagree on how the process is being dragged out - and Mario doesn't care about you or I, or anyone else for that matter. I won't back down from my point, it's just an opinion.
it isbad optics right now in Miami. Hope this is like the Nunez thing
Again, you are just full of it.
Optics? That's what you care about? How about the bad optics of hiring Dan Radakovich, when the entire process was a "****e show" according to sportswriters and mopers? What about the bad optics of hiring Mario Cristobal when we hadn't yet fired Many Diaz, and how Miami was just awful according to sportswriters and mopers?
I don't give a **** about optics, and those who are obsessing about it are being ridiculous. "Tediousness"? Then find something else to do with your life. Oh, sorry, our $8 million per year Head Coach should speed things up to relieve your tedium, right?
You have no idea of the definition of the word condescending. I am not acting like I have any more inside information than anyone else. I am not telling you "relax, babydoll, Mario has already hired his coordinators" and talking down to you because I have knowledge you don't have.
What I AM doing is pointing out the false storylines (Mario took forever to hire coordinators at Oregon, Kendal Briles rejected Miami twice, etc.) and the mindless and childish behavior of people who are insisting that a successful coach change his hiring process to address their insecurities.
That's not condescension. That is Vito Corleone telling Johnny Fontaine that he can act like a man.
Optics. Tediousness. Concerns. How about we judge the hiring when the staff is complete? It's really not too much to ask.
Mario's shooting for a higher caliber coach like himself, which is great, but we have to remember that if Mario wasn't from here & an alum he would've never left Oregon for here. I'm happy with the names he's gone after, just got to close on someone now.Sitting with a pile of money, the Best QB in the ACC with a full stable of badass RB/WR building a beast of an Oline. But Mario going on option #3? Something isn’t right.
You really can't engage in an adult conversation without allowing emotion to seep all over the page...I'm wasting my breath.Again, you are just full of it.
