I may have rejected one I shouldn’t have

My logic as to why the mystery OC candidate is Sean Lewis:

Has been a P5 OC. He went the low-tier G5 route to become a HC and earn his stripes. Has been moderately successful there (won MAC East this year).

So, he thinks he's done what it takes to become a P5 HC this year. But what happens? A bunch of mid-to-low-tier jobs open up and he doesn't even get a call to be considered. Instead, a bunch of P5 coordinators who were already making TRIPLE+ what he makes as HC now, are hired.

This is a man who just realized he made the wrong choice, and finally, realizes the route to a P5 HC job is by being a highly paid coordinator at an A-tier P5 school.

Sean Lewis comes off the Art Briles coaching tree and by that from Dino who learned under Art. He runs up tempo spread, but believes in running the football out of that. I could see it as a good match for what Mario wants on offense.
