I was on campus a week later visiting Chuck...always stayed at the University Inn back then....That whole situation still upsets me to this day. I lived in that building a few years earlier as an undergrad, though I was in my third year of law school when it happened. Just heartbreaking. For years, we (UM Student Government) had been asking for more lighting and security in that area of campus. Who knows, maybe nothing could have prevented what happened, but those 1940s buildings were so **** unsafe, in every regard. Happened about 6 months after the OJ verdict, people can draw their own conclusions about the similarities, I always have.
if he comes here that means he got turned down once again for an nfl oc job.
you asked if briles was interviewed by an nfl team as if that makes dorsey more qualified. do you want clint hurtt as dc?
Can you imagine we end up with Hurtt as DC and Dorsey as OC, "farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies..."
I remember it as well. Barnes (I believe his nickname was "Red") was well liked and a solid/good LB. There were rumors about a love triangle and jealous boyfriend (similar to Pata) but the perpetrator was not a teammate. I also remember Amato (scumbag) at F$U showing press clippings to negatively recruit against Miami by claiming the entire City and campus was unsafe. That whole situation still upsets me to this day. I heard olb / de and maybe co dc as a possibility. If he’s calling the plays then some **** went haywire Lol.
Brady brought the scheme to Lsu . was a huge part of the game plan and he did call plays on big downs. The oc wven said that. Brady was the brains to that whole thing blowing up as big as it did. That offense was awful before him for **** near a decade. He also took a 23 year old average starter and turned him into a god.
That being said KD will be up for oc jobs this year , if he left the pros it would only be for Miami and his relationship with Mario. That’s it. All things considered this job is beneath him. We’d be lucky to have him imo.
This...See nothing but facts here.I heard olb / de and maybe co dc as a possibility. If he’s calling the plays then some **** went haywire Lol.

He literally got interviewed for just that last season.he’s clearly not in line for a nfl oc job next year if he’s coming here. that’s obvious.
It became popular for law students to rent there when they converted to condos. I lived there 1L and 2L years before moving to Edgewater/Brickell area.I remember the University Inn! ****, back in the 1980s, as a freshman, I had a workstudy job where I used to ride on a lift truck, and we would drive from the basement at Mahoney-Pearson to deliver/replace beds and refrigerators and stoves and couched for all of the non-dorm housing. WAY BACK then, the University Inn was the OVERFLOW housing for UM during the fall semester each year. I used to laugh about it, the athletes in the apartment area always got longer beds that all the rest of the student apartments did, we had to make sure we were giving them the right beds and mattresses. Now, how those athletes were BREAKING the beds, I have NO IDEA...

I never forgave Man **** Amato for taking advantage of that tragedy.

I may have seen it too but I just scroll looking for Cribby comments cause I'm too ADHD to read them all. Sorry to inconvenience youI've only seen this meme 354 times in this thread. Real groundbreaking stuff here
Look, I like you, but you go way too far out on a ledge sometimes, with absolute and extreme statements.
"He got turned down once again for an NFL OC job"? When were the other times he got "turned down"?
You have some good thoughts at times, but sometimes you just smash down on that gas pedal and overshoot the truth.
THIS plus, Buffalo was promoting him from within to OC if Daboll left, once Daboll stayed Ken stayed. There's also rumblings that Daboll will take Ken with him when he goes to be a HC. Odds are he's not in Buffalo next year...whether its as an OC elsewhere or at Miami is just the unknownHe literally got interviewed for just that last season.
How does one ” get turned down again for a oc job“ when the season is still going on? If he leaves Buffalo for Miami he’ll be leaving before theres a chance to interview for oc jobs. Miami nor Mario could wait to the end of the season to get an answer. You're speaking in generalities rather than reality.if he comes here that means he got turned down once again for an nfl oc job.

He’s clearly been groomed to fill Daboll’s shoes in Buffalo. If coaches who have been around Saban, Belichick and Reid think highly enough of the guy and his abilities, why would turn him away? Doesn’t make sense. If Dorsey is hired as OC we should all be ecstatic. The only reason we even potentially have an opportunity to hire an NFL caliber coach with his credentials and ability is because of his ties to the program and Mario. Otherwise someone like him wouldn’t even give a second thought to coming here as OC.
so you are class of 1996?That whole situation still upsets me to this day. I lived in that building a few years earlier as an undergrad, though I was in my third year of law school when it happened.
