Erickson won 2 titles. I’ll take that any day.I've pointed this out before, but Dennis Erickson and Mark Richt had some pretty solid resumes too.

yep.If Kevin Smith if being Pursued....I would think Briles might be on his way having been with Smith at FAU.....
.... but I lie alot so...

Agreed. Erickson's offenses were highly regarded and his WSU team was 9 - 3 the season before Miami hired him. And no slight on Mario but Richt definitely had a more extensive resume.I've pointed this out before, but Dennis Erickson and Mark Richt had some pretty solid resumes too.
Well, Mario just basically said yea, they do all have to be recruiting superstars. Not every coach has to be a recruiting superstar. We have plenty of those on staff with Bmac, Mario, Alex, field and Trob. We need a good coach period. Dorsey is an elit QB coach, any man that can make Cam look
Like an NFL MVP is good. Josh Allen made a lot of money because if Dorsey. We really need to stop will Ken be good at recruiting doesn’t matter if he is or is not. His job will be develop TVD and the other QB’s and score points. I could give 2 $hits if he. An recruit.
Yea, well one of them was finishing the job Jimmy did, like Coker doing the honors for Butch in 2001, and then he set the program back 5 years with some really bad recruiting and bringing in a bunch of guys who never should have been offered here for on/off-field reasons. He deserves credit for the championships but his legacy was a mixed bag.Erickson won 2 titles. I’ll take that any day.
You didn't read my whole post. Dorsey would be a score.
And really? Bust? There can't possibly be a human being walking the earth right now that could do the job well? Or is everyone else eliminated because they haven't been discussed on this board? Could be some wild cards out there.
I'm neutral on Dorsey so I'm playing devil's advocate to an extent here, but the concern is definitely not around how he would develop QBs. The concern is that we have no idea what his offensive philosophy is, and he has no experience calling plays. College teams have less time to practice so a complex NFL system that works great in the pros may not translate as well to college as a simpler offense like the type that Briles runs.I saw how Josh Allen got developed over the years. And I hate the Bills on the same level with FSU and Florida.
That dude made jumps that nobody, and I mean nobody, expected from him, in areas, where he was absolutely awful.
If anyone doesnt want Dorsey, put the tape on what Allen did @ New England about two weeks ago.
How complex could the system be if he got Cam Newton an MVP?I'm neutral on Dorsey so I'm playing devil's advocate to an extent here, but the concern is definitely not around how he would develop QBs. I agree, but these past 20 years have given me a new appreciation for him. At least Erickson won a title with Jimmy’s team and also claimed one that can be attributed to him two years later. Lately we have just had coaches that set the program back without as much as an ACC championship to show for it.Yea, well one of them was finishing the job Jimmy did, like Coker doing the honors for Butch in 2001, and then he set the program back 5 years with some really bad recruiting and bringing in a bunch of guys who never should have been offered here for on/off-field reasons. If his offensive philosophy is half of what the Bills are doing right now, we need a monthly subscription for lotion and tissues and booty gifs will not be needed anymore.I'm neutral on Dorsey so I'm playing devil's advocate to an extent here, but the concern is definitely not around how he would develop QBs. Huh?I would also assume Kevin Smith coming here would mean Briles is the OC.
They coached together at FAUHuh?
I love Daboll’s offense. Personally I hope the Vikings hire him. But Dorsey would do great things developing our QBs. Looking down the road some, but he could develop Brown into a very good QB. Fits the mold perfectly of Newton and Allen. Strong arm, super athletic. Just needs mechanical work and a better feel for throwing the ball.If his offensive philosophy is half of what the Bills are doing right now, we need a monthly subscription for lotion and tissues and booty gifs will not be needed anymore.
