Uhmm yeah. Every other school that has hired a coach has at least made one staff hire but nothing from Miami publicly for whatever reason Mario is waiting to announce. I don’t care but it is odd compared to the normal process

If you follow things some what closely you have A pretty good idea who half the staff is. I just don’t get the issue of waiting for the announcement. Maybe he just wants it all done at once and move on.

If we want to play with the big boys we need an army of analysts anchored by a few who have the resume to demand respect and challenge the current staff with evals, game planning, etc.

Luckily we live in a desirable area so attracting multiple top analysts like a Chud or a Mullen or other former HCs should NOT be that difficult.

It’s competitive but it’s still Miami and Mario is highly respected in the coaching community.

That's Dan Mullen, the head coach. Dan Mullen, the offensive coordinator, wouldn't have that type of influence on Mario's locker room. Completely disagree, Mario's an alpha and would lay the structure and ground rules very clearly.

I was naive early on and was like a toddler playing with a hand gun. Not just with info but hanging my entire reputation on a few calls. Which looking back was beyond dumb. I was also naive to the eyes that watch what lI post. I had no clue there was that many.

Btw I’m not playing coy or acting like I know the entire staff , because I don‘t. I’m also sketchy on some info since I know it is a new staff. I said during the AD search I wouldn’t be in a race to be first , I wanted to be right. People should’ve learned a valuable lesson from that. Media especially.

I‘m a 43 year old small business owner , so i‘m not some young jit sitting around tweeting amd texting trying to get info all day. Theres plenty of times I find out out stuff when y’all do, I don’t know all things um football lol. Or care to know for that matter. People assume I do.

Couldn't possibly disagree any more, with all of this. Certain guys can carry a locker room and bring stability to formally unstable environments AND people....I'd be willing to bet a guy like Mario could get the best out of Mullen, the OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR.

Why would Mullen submit? That’s what this takes. Mullen has to leave his pride at the door and submit to Mario’s rule. Why would he do that? Mario isn’t going to change Mullen’s personality. Mullen is a weird egotistical dude, who is a good offensive play caller. If Mario was say three years in and had a solid culture built and could afford a risk like Mullen sure. But day 1 trying to build a foundation from scratch? I’d bet on a different OC.
