Why don't you wait to see who he hires before questioning his methodology you dolt

Dumbfuqs like you can’t read. Reread what I said again

God **** did your mother hate you or did you get addicted to meth early in your life

Shannon at FSU, Diaz at PSU, Golden at ND

Hell Yeah Party GIF

I'm not sure we're necessarily doing this.

He offered Candle this past week, so clearly Mario just takes a long time.

We could end up with an NFL guy, but that really has nothing to do with time. LSU's d-coordinator is coaching the Chiefs right now. Other NFL guys have accepted college roles and are still finishing up their NFL duties.

Mario is just a slow as ****
...or extremely thorough

Bottom line: The actual hire will either justify the hiring process or confirm there are issues with his approach. Hopefully, we find out soon.

I have a couple friends who are huge Notre dame fans and they’re plugged into the athletic department over there.

They said Al Golden is a serious candidate for their DC position

Edit: I didn’t even see the 247 update, I just had those guys reach out to me and tell me.
soooo did you respond by saying "Yes he would be the perfect DC for ND!"

;)

100%

I’m not concerned with how the process is going until I see how it plays out

Not the “actual hire” though. Only the “actual performance“ of those hires will justify his selections.

We won’t know that until the season is well underway.

It’s hard to evaluate his process during this transition, because you’re talking about the key leaders having been hired within the last six weeks, and a staff that’s totally in flux during this transition, which is to be expected.

His process may be easier to interpret and judge and understand once the athletic department and staff are fully in place.

Right now, as people on the outside, we are only guessing as to what he’s doing, and these guesses are made much more difficult by the fact that you have an entire department in complete transition.

I believe in the end he is going to try to remake everything regarding the athletic department in the football program into his vision (in conjunction with Rad).

That doesn’t happen overnight.

Whether he is successful or not we won’t know for a couple of years which direction he’s headed.

all of us complaining about the timing won’t change anything.

However, once the dust settles, I’m hoping there is some context behind why things took as long as they did…. Nfl schedule being a very likely explanation

Coming from the business world, employees have alot of options these days. Same as CFB coaches…. It’s one thing to be thorough in your processes, it’s another to be make it arduous and turn off potential strong candidates

That’s all I’m saying. Mid February is MY arbitrary deadline before I start to think something is off
