I wouldn’t be so sure about that - I’d say it’s greater than 70% yeah, but it’s not like he has a glowing success rate in the pros as an OC. Honestly, nothing surprises me - and it’s also very easy to get blackballed in the NFL quickly.

I would assume that Freeman would want someone to run his defense. Would a young hotshot like Belk be cool with learning and running someone else‘s D?

**** end up at ALA as an analyst before he comes here imo if his goal is to get bck. they're likely losing their OC this offseason.

Yeah, I'm well aware. I posted that right after it happened because I'm no fan of people parlaying "serious conversations" or "discussions on salary, but no actual job offer" into calculated leaks by their agents trying to get more money from their current employers.

We still have other position coaches to hire too, and we don't need 3 Co-coordinators on both offense and defense because we lost our leverage.

We need to pull a Walt Disney, buy up all the land using shell companies. We need to lock down our contracts, salaries, and titles, and if Mario wants to wait to announce it, that's fine. But I don't like hiring and contracts to get compromised by these "other-party" leaks. I do think things are more locked down today than when I first posted that, so I'm cool.

Yeah that’s absolutely a concern, and yes I have some CaneShades on here…but our offense isn’t that far off from theirs; at least heading into next season. If you want to say Bryce young is better, sure I won’t argue that (although TVD ain’t too far behind, if that). RB they have Gibbs (beast) and no one that I’d fear after that. WR room is as questionable as it’s been for them in a minute; Brooks no showed in the champ game, Slade weirdly went pro, the other frosh had a case of the manos de piedra…I’ll take our room over theirs. TE they have latu and I’m taking Mallory and arroyo over them all day.

The point being, Brady’s allure of coming here isn’t just because S. Fla is home or we could go toe-to-toe with Bama’s $$ offer; he has some legit weapons to utilize at his disposal if he chooses Miami.

Now with that being said - ultimately I do think he lands somewhere in the pros…but man will I still dream about it.

Read the clues, candle Is out, a couple hours later it’s leaked briles stays with Arkansas. Now all of a sudden yesterday Ponce is in town “recruiting“. Makes me wonder. Hop on the ponce train before it’s too late, TVD is the conductor.
