Joe Brady is the best and only candidate there is, was, or ever will be. Dudes name has not been mentioned at all in the media since he said he wanted to stay in the NFL. He for **** sure isn’t getting an HC interview after getting fired as an OC.

Or it could be that (if if if Ferman was actually right for once in his miserable life) Cristobal got to some sort of a "I'm going to let you sleep on it, and I'll call you tomorrow, and if I give you an offer, I'll expect a yes" type of a level.

Some people just see certain things from different perspectives. Maybe Mario never felt he made a solid offer, but certain people thought he did. Let's put this into all of the 1L Contracts textbooks...

So I gather (from Ferman's article (?)) that Mario doesn't make job offers..discusses job, salary parameters..and waits for a response? Interesting approach.

Do you actually think you know how he navigates the interview and hiring process?

Let me help you out here. You don’t. Just because someone has theorized or speculated this is how he hires, these are the words he uses, this is what he does before he does the other thing, that’s all irrelevant.

Nobody actually knows how he approaches this except him and the people that are close to him, RIGHT NOW.

Also, LOL at taking verbatim anything that Sperman writes.

Also, I'm really not understanding the Ponce logic and why so many resigned to this idea that he ends up getting hired. He was Mario's WR coach, what, 10 years ago, and never sniffed an opportunity of any kind at Oregon.
Its half trolling half everyone's deepest fear

No, I don't think I know - was surmising from an article, and discussing. Overreact much?

Haha. It's mainly just retweets.

I really haven't seen Mario write too much of his own social media since he's been here aside from one word posts like "Gamechanger!!!" when some of our guys announced they were coming back for next season.

And he's too busy to even type that one word, so he just copy-pastes it over and over again.

I have to say I kind of feel sorry for him.

His life is probably typical of mid-level coaches in college and probably even in high school. Bouncing around, not knowing where your next paycheck is going to come from, adjusting to new cities or locations all the time. Not everybody has the million plus dollar salaries guaranteed.

As much as you have been on this board I would think you know that a lot of Cane fans believe whatever fits their agenda

I can't afford Joe's

Joe's Stone Crab is arguably Miami Beach's most famous restaurant. A sprawling seafood palace, the restaurant attracts heads of state, celebrities, and your Uncle Bob — all who come for the restaurant's stone crabs. Sure, those crustaceans are tasty, but do you know what's even better? A heaping plate of Joe's crisp, golden fried chicken. Each piece is sheer perfection — crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Peel off a piece of breading to catch the aroma. See the gentle puff of steam wafting from that tender breast. Bite into that plump thigh. It's food **** for the well-heeled. The best part? A half chicken costs just $6.95. That's not a typo. Joe's fried chicken actually costs less than an order of fries ($8.95) at the restaurant. The only thing cheaper than a plate of fragrant, warm, soulful fried chicken is a Diet Coke.

So.......I can get a Diet Coke. I got fired from my Maude position here. Times are tough.

You are correct, but sometimes I just like to point people back to reality.

There’s a big difference between the real world and what people fantasize about on here, but many posters take this stuff as reality, and modify it to fit their agenda sometimes.

For example, right now, and @RVACane can confirm this, there’s a big conspiracy theory about how we rejected Raymond. It’s likely not reality, but apparently it fits somebody’s agenda.
