I would like to think he would pick Miami over ND. But I don’t know anything about Belk and his aspirations of values.

Orange and green glasses off and fandom aside.. ND is the better job for at least the next 2-3 years. He probably takes it and propels into a HC job if he’s successful from the jump like Freeman was.
Agree with you, but the only reason I think Belk might pick Miami is that him and Mario were at Bama together for three years.

Agreed, would add he’s going to have more autonomy here. Can basically bring in entire defensive staff less DL coach

Has anyone fired and then hired a new OC for 2022, yet? Or even any franchises hired a new HC, yet? I’m legitimately asking.. don’t follow NFL close enough
There are 2 OC openings with HC's in place, Lions, Panthers. You figure that number grows to 10 openings after the 8 current HC vacancies are filled. I've heard Brady has put in feelers with a couple of prospective guys as well as with Campbell and hasn't gotten the responses he's expected. If he wants to stay in NFL it seems at this point it will likely be in a PGC role and position coach, that could obviously change with a new hire but at the monment ot much traction for him.

That’s probably the kicker. Even if Freeman is hands off.. does Belk care or would he like to learn from one of the best coordinators in CFB?

It could be beneficial for him.
That's the difference right there to me.

Does Belk want to go somewhere where he can have a mentor and a safety net in Freeman but will also have to share some of the credit with Freeman?

Or does he want to go somewhere he has full autonomy but full ownership of failure too without a safety net as a head coach?

All depends on his mindset and his personal belief in his readiness.

he would've been here already. hes staying at UGA
Not necessarily. Mario is big on respect and Schumann is slated to appear with the national championship trophy at a Walmart in Bumblefuk, GA and a Bass Pro Shops in Hilljack, GA. Once those obligations are met then we might see some movement.

Where?

I has assumed that if Lombardi got a HC job he'd be his OC or if Cincy's OC moved on he'd slide in there.

hes going to help guide the UGA EEs with spring install and then hop over

Read on 247 or On3 Auburn message board by one of their writers. Sure sounds like Harsin runs a tight ship and has been friction among the defensive staff and Harsin.
My brother is really good friends with a few of Boise State's boosters and all the coaches there told them that Harsin is an absolute ****head and almost all of the coaches hated him. I mean have you ever seen him smile? I'm not even sure he knows how to.
