That’s an easy sell, the ability to create and mold your own defense as opposed to inheriting shows your ability to progress and take that next step.
I would like to think he would pick Miami over ND. But I don’t know anything about Belk and his aspirations of values.

Orange and green glasses off and fandom aside.. ND is the better job for at least the next 2-3 years. He probably takes it and propels into a HC job if he’s successful from the jump like Freeman was.

Agree but how hands on would Freeman be for defense vs Mario?

Problem .. or concern for any DC candidate .. is the fact that Freeman will be "very hands on in all aspects of the defense .. from game planning to game day play calling". Not sure if a guy who is "moving up" takes that type of a watered down role working with a first time HC. He would have more autonomy running the D at Miami than ND .. and should have a fast track to being the DC of a dominant team in the ACC.

They definitely have more talent, on that side and with a great recruiting class coming in. I get why he would go to ND.

Just giving the selling point we can use. Miami can accumulate talent pretty quickly. And being able to run your own defense and prove to do it on your own is also I would guess intriguing.

Tough decision for Belk.

I get the thought that ND is a current better job than Miami.... but I would hope coaches are looking at the fact that ND has been putting the resources into the football the entire time and they are who they are (top10-15.. never elite).. and that's with what some would say is an easier path to the playoffs.... Now you got Miami and Mario showing you the blueprint and proof that we are about to pump this ****** up and get on the same or higher level than the top5 teams in the nation... Knowing Miami's history.... and current decent talented team and recruiting grounds, plus the $millions$ finally pumped in... C'mon Now!!!!!!

I'm good with Mason & Chance or Belk & AAR.

Honestly, I'm more concerned with the OC situation than the DC situation (even with T-Rob leaving)
