Because we didn't have Duke, and according to the Don Bailey Jrs on this board, if we had Duke, then the defense would be on the field less and we'd have a top 30 defense. The defense only sucked because they were always on the field, duh!

It won't? They count ACC record, NOT COASTAL RECORD, to determine the ACC champ. UL, Free Shoes and VT blowouts means we have THREE guaranteed losses to start. That means, IF Golden can sweep GT, UNC, Duke, UVA and PITT, (which you know he can't) we are 5-3 in the Coastal, and VT would have to be 4-4 for us to win it.

Thus, losing to UL by ONE point or 100 points = UM out like Fout with 11 games left.

Personally, I say we are 4-4 or 3-5 in the ACC, and don't even sniff Golden's lofty Third in the Coastal in 2014.

Hey man, we won 9 games last year. Thats a good season, you win 9 games, you go to a good bowl game, even if you get blown out and smoked thats a good year. Some teams dont win 9 games, its not the same

Wow, I'm not someone that really cares what people say in these kind of interviews, because usually it is just a lot of Bull, and "Coach Speak". But Dam, I can't believe he said that. The only way he should be happy is if we were the #1 D last year and we just won the National Championship; **** even then I'd expect him to say we can still improve in some areas. But In no scenario should he ever say our expectations were met by a defense that ranked 90 or whatever the **** it was. That is just dissapointing.
