There's a big difference between saying "Yes, winning only 9 games bothers me. It's not good enough at Miami and we know that, and we're going to work hard to live up to the expectations set by generations of coaches and players before us" and then that mealy-mouthed bull****. Sickening. These guys have no interest in making Miami back into a year to year powerhouse. They're fine winning 9 games in embarrassing fashion and then maybe having a 10 win season every 5 or 6 years. Get them the **** away from this school.

Him and his buddy have no business coaching at a big time division 1 school...they belong at a small program. He's a nice guy, God bless him...but he simply is in over his head here.

Meanwhile we're going to have to sit through at least one more disappointing season and then hope our *** backwards, reactive (never proactive) administration deems the experiment a failure and moves on....which my gut tells me they are dumb enough to at least wait a couple more seasons on.

Guy got rejected by his alma mater during a time where their program is down and they could have, in theory, afforded to take a shot on a guy like Golden to "rebuild their image".

They passed....yet somehow he's still good enough for the University of Miami. Meanwhile Petrino signs with Louisville and we're staring at QB who finished last year ranked 127th out of 128 eligible qb's as our prospective opening day starter.

I'd argue "the cloud" is actually the shadow of these 2 fat asses hovering over this program and still hasn't blown over.

Talent is the best it has been In 10 years but y'all act like y'all don't see that..... Y'all act like the staff wants to lose, yeah they got their faults but we lost games last year because of injuries to key players, players starting on d who should have even been on the practice squad and because of fuc^ing Stephen Morris..... Chill

There is no suppressing the truth. That abortion of a defensive scheme is on display every week for the world to see...if you think for one second every coach in America doesn't throw that in our recruits faces and negative recruit the **** out of it...well then I don't know what to tell you.

I don't believe in the Don Bailey Jr "everything will be alright" attitude. You make your own breaks..you have to be proactive, not reactive. When something is broken...you fix it.

No, "recruiting momentum" is not good enough when you've never played in the ACC title game, get blown out by every good team you play, haven't won 10 games in 9 years, and routinely choke whenever there's actually a chance to bring some REAL momentum to the program.
