2025 Solomon Thomas 5* OT from Jacksonville Raines commits to the Noles (FSU still hasn't learned)

FWIW, Flo has said for weeks that this kid has some sharp representation and that he really doesn't care about the school. It's all about the $$$$
All about the $ but chose FSU? That math ain’t mathing.

It wouldnt surprise me if FSU submitted the highest offer for him initially.
It also wouldnb’t surprise me if other schools didn’t offer more money because of how he comes across.

Other teams doing their due diligence but ST saying its a business decision but he’s staying with FSU is because thats where he thinks his biggest bag will be.

Fwiw - pretty sure FSU will overpay for ST when all said and done. They knew the price tag probably jumped when they fired his OL friend but FSU needs him in their class.

Kind of refreshing and hilarious that a kid blatantly states I'm going to the school that gives me the most money, its too late for all the other factors. FSU is paying the most right now so he is sticking with them, but basically calls on LSU or UF to outbid them.

“The blowing up of my phone has been pretty aggravating not going to lie,” Thomas said. “It’s their job.”

Schools that have been in contact include LSU, Florida, Miami, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee.

“If you’re not talking about business I don’t want to talk,” Thomas stated. “That’s a real statement. At this point there is no other relationship pitch to be had. With the relationship me and Coach Atkins had, you can’t replicate that this late in the process.

I’m going to say LSU and Florida as two schools that have a chance if the cards are played correct,” Thomas said.

“But I’m sticking with Florida State.”

So basically, if LSU/UF ante up, they can get em. Yeah, let this kid go lol.
I know these kids have to take this approach but the idea of being a grown man and talking business in the 6 and 7 figures with a 17 year old is hilarious.

I'm a pro NIL get your bag guy and I'd find it absurd if actually put in that position. I understand Saban/Jay Wright/Tony Bennett.

I mean, he's the jewel of the class and they NEED him there to help stem the tide this recruiting cycle. the class is already bad but if he bolts, oof.

But, it's quite a risk to sink all your egg$ in one basket.

Money talks…but those are 3 programs with coaches who are desperate.

Are they overpaying…and why isn’t a GA, Bama, Miami, etc seriously in it…maybe the product doesn’t match the hype?

Will any of those coaches be at those school by December of 2025?
