He's normally right when he decides to actually give a straight answer on something. He gets hated on for not giving straight answers 90% of the time.


Straight answer Gaby:
Player X will not be in this class


Normal Gaby:
It will be hard for Player X to be in the class for reasons 1,2,3. But for different reasons 4,5,6 I think Miami has a shot here so while it doesn't appear Player X will be in the class at this minute it wouldn't shock me at all to see him commit to Miami as early as tonight.

Gaby trippled down that miami will not be hosting Solomon Thomas.

“I was assured that there has not been comminication with Thomas and it was made clear once again this morning and Miami is not pursuing Thomas and that he’s not visiting.”

Or maybe the coaches don't think he's worth what he thinks he is in NIL. I trust our coaches when it comes to OL recruiting but it would be just to steal him just to hurt FSU.

Then it's a win either way. Let's say that they devoted 30% of their 2025 NIL budget to Solomon - that's less that they have to go after other players in the portal.

And once they overleverage one player at that position group, other players (either on the team or incoming) will expect higher compensation.

My thing is when you're undefeated, one of the top teams in the nation, has coaches who don't have to say how they've developed his position they can just say " check our resumè", hes committed to a 1-6 team who never develops the OL and he still doesn't badly want in? Good move tf on I'll take a 3 who wants to be great and ends up like Anez than beg
