So Sam Bruce was kicked off the team for...........

I can see both sides - but lean towards asking WTF?'! I just can't shake the feeling that he'd still be on a team coached by Butch or Jimmy.

Funny as **** how sanctimonious and 'trust in coach' everyone is in here. Probation has made er'body soft. No killer instinct left up in here. Forget ever getting another Natty.....

If Richt is such a strict disciplinarian that doesn't provide kids with opportunity, who is the kid playing running back in Walton's jersey? Cause certainly Richt must have expelled Walton the moment he was accused.

Troll my *** Alabama starter gets pulled over on a gun charge and he's still on the team... Bruce is late to a therapy session and gets kicked off

We gonna act like Richt didn't kick off multiple kids at Georgia ?? If u ask Georgia fans it wS an extraordinary amount.... but yet if u guys wanna make up stories about him skipping classes and meetings to make u feel better about the situation then go ahead.... it's par for the course.... his mom even said she felt the infractions were minor...but whatever helps y'all sleep at night

Didn't you say you were a school administrator or something one time. Real nice message you send the kids I'm sure.....it's ok I know you fu*ked up for the 99th time but he's chance #100 ....

Your a joke we all know your a Noles fan.....go hang with your boy JROCK

I agree with blackvern....coach MR needs to think back to his college days when he wasn't a saint....

maybe he does and looks back on what made him start making better decisions in life

It's a shame all around because players can be rubbed out by this administration and now by the coach as well....just wayyyy to much going on around here!

Players wanna play and not get kicked off team by their own fault? Its simple don't be stupid and **** up. When your a student athlete you have to mature and set examples, we don't need guys like Bruce, what good is he if he's always suspended and can't play much?

Didn't read the thread but...

Sam's known for being an arrogant knuckle-head. He's mister "Can't Get Right". He seldom does the right things and nobody can tell him ****. Even people that have trained him for years have had enough of him.

From what I heard, he had obligations to take care of while the he was on campus and the team was travelling for away games. He was skipping out on those things. Just because you don't travel with the team doesn't mean you don't still have obligations. He was showing up late to meetings, not being where he was supposed to be, skipping out on obligations, etc. Basically he wasn't on board, just kinda wanted to do his own thing.

I have no sympathy for a kid like that and I highly doubt he would've panned out anyway if that was his attitude. You just threw a away a great education cause you wanted to be all about "I".

That's everything that I heard as well. He wasn't late for therapy once....

He ******* didn't even show up for therapy several times!

Complete disregard for his obligations. A "me first" player. Can't succeed with guys like that. He definitely would've been a headache going forward.

WTF are you talking about? Maybe you can enlighten me because I have no idea what you were saying

Losing players like Grace and then Sam Bruce is huge..no doubt about it. I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE ON HERE HAS TO SAY ABOUT IT....this hurts on many levels.

The thing that I really think is funny about these type of threads is that we have an actual game to talk about that just happens to be pivotal to our season.

And people want to talk about some kid who was kicked off the team who is injured who has not even played one minute yet. As if he is some sort of X factor to us being great or "back" again.

Insane.

So when commits flirt with other programs we should kick them because we only want savages who really want to rep the U. When a team member keeps effing up and putting himself above the team we should keep him because we're savages? How does letting a kid stay on the team when he's shown no work ethic make a coach hard?

The argument isn't about if it hurts or not, it's about who's fault the pain is. Miami fans don't want players to have to take responsibility for their actions while decrying how "soft" and "entitled" kids are these days. Kids are entitled because adults never make them take responsibility.
