Vern, I really wanted to see Sam on the field but do you think JJ would have put up with a kid basically saying, "I'll do want, when I want." I think you said you are in the school system. Were you ever in a classroom? What happens to your room when one kid does something like that and you let him get away with it? I agree we need some bad boys on the field but it takes a strong hand to control them and they need to be controlled. gators haven't recovered from Percy bs yet. Look what happened under Dennis.

Mark is not JJ, or Howard, or Butch. Kids were afraid of those guys. Mark needs to control through discipline. He is not going to take a Jerome Brown, RIP, down to the grass on Greentree and stand over him with his finger in his grill chewing his rear for slacking in practice like I saw JJ do one day. One reason I wanted Butch was that fear factor but we got Mark. Let's hope these young kids decide that they will police this team and take care of these situations themselves.

Vern come on dude. It was just too much to put up with. All those infractions AND im assuming he didnt blow the staff away in Fall ball either. Like Jimmy "the God" Johnson always says, "The better you are, the more im willing to put up with."

Like the ole story goes..Michael Irvin and another nameless Cowboy WR went out to a strip club one night and stayed out all night. Jimmy told the team that there was a mandatory meeting the very next morning and to not be late. Well...they were late. Michael and the "other WR" walk into the meeting late. Jimmy calls both of them outside..curses them the **** out..tells Michael, "Go back into the meeting."...Tells the other WR, "Not you. You pack your **** and get the **** outta my building." True Story from Irvins own mouth.

Now you're comparing Sam bruce who's continually ****ed up & never played one solitary down to one of the greatest recievers to ever come out of the University & a overall good kid. You just trying to find **** to moan about. You gotta work on context if u serious with this. I think u just bored or something

Go tell that to dee liner who was a 5 star & actually played a few downs. All he did was snitch on himself about Bama paying him to come to college. This happens all the time everywhere. To honestly believe that 100% of what occurs is reported to the media is naive. Yall know of several small stories. Nothing of what's been occurring since he stepped on campus over & over & over again. & bye the way his talent doesn't justify his ego... he aint poor man's roscoe

Clearly, Richt doesn't like to be lied to, especially to his face. I think Bruce lying about his leg was the red flag, and everything after that was pretty much consequential.

Moral of the Story: Don't lie to that dude! Remember he kick Isaiah Crowell off his team, and he was like the number 1 running nation, but that may be a different situation. He's known to kick players off the team, see Nick Marshall, Josh Harvey-Clemmons (UL). Might as well get use to that! I respect that tho, but a person convictions does come at a price!
 
Blackvern the enabler, huh? At least his mom is holding him accountable for his jackass actions. Hope he comes out on top somewhere. Really liked him as a player.

He's finishing out the semester, i think it would be possible for reconciliation but not probable.

Richt is old fashioned and I love it. A person, needs discipline, integrity, honesty, and truthfulness to be worthwhile citizen. I like that he holds these kids accountable for their actions. I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE.
 
Im bummed that he didnt do the right thing.

This was the one kid I was especially hyped to see get on the field!!!!!

The fact that Sam's mom is not overly upset by his dismissal tells me everything I need to know. If someone kicked my son off the team and drug my son's name through the mud over something as minor as missing some therapy sessions, I would raise some ****. Now, if my son was truly getting in to some trouble off the field, and the coach agreed to not disclose any of it publicly and instead dismiss him for missing therapy sessions, I would act just as she is acting. I have a strong feeling that there is a lot more to this story than we are being told.
 
It's like every year my favorite recruit never makes it to Miami. 2014 Dalvin Cook, 2015 Calvin Ridley, & now 2016 Sam Bruce/Deion Jackson.

Hopefully, we can land 2017 OG Tedarrell Slaton & LB De'Andre Wilder.
