Butch Davis did the same **** here. I'm not sure what the problem is.

The injury probably made he decision even easier for Richt.

I could care less about the kid. We all knew he was likely a headcase. Bring me more guys like Pinckney, Shaq, JJ, AR, etc.

Who cares he is gone. Either it was one thing, two things or a series of things doesn't matter. We just got out of a mess of trouble a couple of years back and I think Richt probably did what was right for the program. He probably wasn't going to be worth the trouble in the long run.
 
Honestly Vern, working a troll game about how Cook's younger brother might choose the U over F$U would get a lot more traction than this Bruce shît.

I'll say this much. Bruce has f'ed up plenty since he's been here, and punishment was absolutely in order, but instead of kicking a freshman off of the team, maybe Richt needs to be willing to actually help these kids work through their issues instead of deciding they should be someone else's problem. This kid clearly has issues, and rather than try to fulfill all of those empty promises about turning him into a man and good person that he made to the kid's parents not even a full year ago, Richt gave up on him in a matter of a few months.

I'm always confused by people that claimed they wanted the country club atmosphere gone but get upset when a player is dismissed from violationin team rules.

I do think sam was giving many chances. If he was late to therapy, that's not an excuse to kick him off. Now if he didn't show up that's a different story. HALF OF YALL LATE TO YOUR JOBS EVERYDAY. THE KIDS 18 years old.

You don't get back by allowing a kid who's never played a down to be a continued distraction to the team while everyone else busts there ***. I know we live in a time where everyone thinks breathing means you get a blue ribbon and a corner office with an ocean view but that's not real life
 
For a kid who allegedly wanted to be a CANE so bad, he sure as **** couldn't or wouldn't get with the program. There happens to be several other TRUE freshman on this team who seem to be doing what's asked/required of them so to me, Sam made a personal decision to be a ME guy instead of a TEAM guy. Sadly, this is probably the first time in his life where his off the field decisions are going to effect him on the field. The fact that he has a great Mom who gets the big picture makes me hopeful that Sam will learn and grow and make better decisions in the future. GO CANES

Why do people think this world was made for them? Its pretty black and white... you either learn to live within the parameters of the world we live in or you fall. Any part of the human mind that tells you otherwise is a disability.

Sam is disabled... he thinks someone owes him something all of the time.
 
Yo this dude ran like a 4.56 y yall worried.....giveme harley ole boy runs a high 4.3. Richards was that diamond and people were wrong about bruce plain n simple. We may never hear about this kid ever again
