So now that Morris also beat U*

Morris looked good in the first quarter against Florida because it's the only quarter that looked like we had an offensive line on the field. And I'm not taking a shot at Morris.

Morris is just like jay cutler those guys play off their arm talent. You see him and cutler both can make throws without setting their feet and can go on streaks where they look great but when they play better defensenses those throws turns into picks and incompletions. Morris is still raw at qb and he should have been given a rs but i think he has more potential than boyd, manziel and a few others.

Stephen Morris has never been a high interception guy..... he has way more touch on his throws then Jay Cutler. Every time Stephen Morris throws the ball deep it lands perfectly in the receiver's hands in stride. Rarely does he over throw or under throw a receiver.

He also has made throws that i haven seen Jay Cutler make or Teddy Bridgewater make at all w/ consistency..... the main one that i am talking about is when Morris seemingly at will makes the throw in the corner of the endzone that is always thrown perfectly over the back shoulder of the receiver so that the receiver is the only one that can make a play on the ball regardless of how tight the coverage was on him.... he was doing that last year.

Teddy Bridgewater is more consistent in the offense Louisville runs playing a cupcake schedule his entire career like I said i believe Jacory Harris would have won the Heisman under those circumstances. Teddy is a better QB then Jacory but I cant put much stock into the whole "consistency" argument based on those factors.

disappointed in you Zone...

That boy Tedyy > S.Morris

Morris might be a better NFL qb but Teddy better College QB

I can accept that right now but I think Stephen Morris has the opportunity to be considered a better College QB as well.

I'm not sure if your serious, or if you don't care about the % of deep balls completed but when it came to the 2012 season, besides the defense there was nothing that frustrated me more than watching Morris overthrow open receivers by 5-10 yards each game because he didn't show the ability to put touch on the ball. 60 yards on a line is extremely impressive and I love it, but it's also very frustrating when there are missed touchdowns due to that very reason. Not saying that every quarterback hits on every long pass attempt, but I think his overall production compared to most big time college quarterbacks is less than average.

Morris has one signature win in Florida. And to me, he showed nothing in that game that warranted putting the team on his back to carry them to victory. The defense did it for him. Thats one thing i think Morris doesnt have, and its not something you can just learn to do. He doesnt have that x factor to go out and win you a game single handed. Thats what i think NFL teams look for. No one wants to draft a game manager. Morris has a way above average arm. But i still dont think he goes through progressions well, is inconsistent when it comes to his accuracy, holds onto the ball too long, and showed terrible poise when he whined like a little ***** when Stacy Coley dropped that ball against FAU. Morris has had so much time to prove something, imo, and he hasnt yet. Dont really care if he won a Manning Passing Camp mvp.

This year i've only seen Stephen Morris miss on deep balls, was against FAU and to P. Dorsett but those werent overthrown balls. Last year was his 1st year as a starter, and the Deep Ball was the pass he was most accurate at, i wasnt being serious when I said "every time" but still most of the time when Stephen Morris missed a throw deep wasnt b/c it was overthrown.

COMPLETELY FALSE

He over threw 2 passes in the uf game. Over threw hurns when it could have been a huge 1st down in the 2nd half and he over threw dorsett i believe and uf got the pick.

One of Morris' best attributes is his ability to make big plays when the game is on the line. You can call it moxie or whatever the **** you want but he put the team on his back as a freaking freshmen and beat Maryland and did it against NC State last season too. UF he didn't need to do that so he didn't. Even referencing Morris has a game manager in terms of his skill set is beyond foolish.

zone bringing it, totally agree with your perspective

btw, Morris passed Steve Walsh to become the eighth all-time leading passer in Miami history, this in it of itself is pretty strong

imo elite company

if morris doesnt get hurt in SSU and USF, its lights out!
