Signing Day Buzz: 6 Days Away

This?

Ice told ESPN that we got a silent commitment from a D lineman today.. And that took DK's spot

This?
From reading around it seems to be:

Michael Barrow asks him to commit and Kirkland tells him we are in his Top 3. Michael Barrow didn't like that answer and said sayonara.

If true, Randy Shannon would be proud.

Or grades?

Will we ever know?

Yes guys lets go from kissing Al's feet to wanting to fire him. You guys are senseless and dont even know what is going on. There is obviously a reason beyond what has been told, so lets all shut the **** up and let this **** play out. You all sound like ******* girls.

If this is what happened you have to think they didn't feel to good about Thomas either.

Either way, Ice going to the media is BS.

so all the mocking and posts about other team's mb meltdown is now ours? pete losing confidence in all his write-ups? wtf...

fans on here went from sucking Al Golden to spitting at him...Trust our headcoach, I believe the pro's outweight the cons in this situation-we just don't know the specifics. It's obvious it's not a grades issue and I doubt its b/c we don't have space, there's something else to it.

This is not a positive development, and the coaches cannot comment on this publicly. By Ice's own admission, however, we asked him for a commitment and Kirkland declined. At that point, we told him we were going to use that spot for someone else if he wasn't taking it. Seems we were upfront and honest. But we are going to take a beating for it in the short term, at least.

Like the move. These kids have gotten too **** big for the britches playing these recruiting games. Your hometown school wants you to play football for them and offers you a full ride to a private school located in a paradise. I believe it sends the message if you are looking so are we and we'll find someone who wants to be here. Maybe this will help prevent players from playing games in future classes.

Not so sure, according to this article ICE told Cane's coaches he was committing to Miami.

I'm pretty sure Ice also stated that Kirkland was committing to Miami.

I heard something a while back that I was hesitant to post on this board...but given tonight's event who the **** cares.

Don't be surprised if Ice Harris ends up on the Florida State staff shortly after signing day.

It would explain a **** of a lot.

Noles fans were discussing this possibility on WarCunt. Didn't think it had legs, though.

Ice can say whatever he wants. When Kirkland was asked, he said Top 3. Coaches didn't want to hear it.
