SIAP: Robinson not traveling with team

I hear so often about players in different sports on different levels complaining about playing time. I always wonder what is going through their heads. Regardless of whatever other motives the coaches have, they have a strong desire to win the games. Those who they think are helping the team win will play.

According to a sorce, Robinson's father thought he's was litterly laying bricks. Flipped out on the coaching staff.

Lulz

Hot tempers have a way of cooling off.

I have a hunch we will see a reconciliation within the next week or two.

Maybe he should practice laying actual bricks? I hear brick masons make some good money. Since his NFL career is about to be set on fire, he should consider alternatives.

His dad must be a democrat.... They always want what they haven't earned:ohlord: It's amazing we have a whole movement of lazy do nothings thinking everything should be handed to them.

Luther's career stats and tenure before this season

2011 (Sophomore): Missed season with lower extremity injury.

2010 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 10 games, making starts against North Carolina and Maryland ... Recorded three tackles and one tackle-for-loss ... Earned letter.

2009 (True Freshman): Sat out first season at Miami and participated on practice squad, redshirted to retain eligibility.

--------------------------------------

3 Tackles

Game 1 at BC 2 Tackles

So in 3 seasons and 1 game 5 total tackles. Now he and his dad decides to speak up. Maybe we should renegotiate his contract too since he put of 2/3 of his total stats in his first game.

Honestly this kid and his dad needs to shut his ******* mouth, he has one game where the DL had ZERO pressure and he is unhappy.

**** entitlements.

Not too be a debbie downer but he was easily the most effective Dlinemen last week he is not a JAG if were going by week1 status. I too wondered why he didnt play more..but these parents mane

I call BS, and you of all people. Big deal he played better than most of our guys. Nobody did a **** thing so big deal, you won the gold medal during the special olympics.

He could've been mother****ing Warren Sapp out there, and right now, 18 months in, the culture is simply more important than the benefits of his play.

I totally agree.

The culture must be changed and you can see the differences already. Al's system, Al's rules.

Agreed.

It's ******* irritating on two counts. One, above all, is just the complete bull**** of the situation. Secondly, dude you have never done a thing for this team. You had a couple of plays in a game last week, big friggin deal.

Have his dad come pick him up and head to Alabama St.

Why are you dragging politics into this? ******* dumb. This is as annoying as the mopes who drag that **** into the WEZ. Leave it out of the convo.

I was just talking about all the negging with these FNG's.

Facts:

Luther's Did is a complete idiot. STFU and let your kid earn his way in life. That's the world we live in. Instead, you opened your yap and just made life MUCH harder on your son. Good job Dad!

Luther needs to man up and make decision on his own and not listen to his Dad. He is a man, over 20....time to grow up big boy.

Luther played well at BC, but he was far from dominant. He was in the backfield a lot, so very visible to the casual viewer, but he was hot and cold all game like the other defensive players. On 1 play i saw him stand straight up from his stance, get double teamed and pushed 6 yards downfield. Guess what.....THAT HAPPENS TO GUYS THAT ARE TIRED!!!! That is why DTs get rotated, to keep them fresh. Hey Mr Robinson, maybe you should pay attention to that!!!

Until the BC game, Luther had earned nothing at UM in terms of playing time. He's always been out of shape and never stepped up until this year to warrant being a starter. Playing the way he did against BC would have earned him some more reps......but instead he wants it handed to him like every other DIVA in college football these days. He is not an elite player that can make demands or cause a stir like this and get away with it. The program is bigger than you Luther. Wake the F up or get the F out!

Where's that thread absolving Luther for his antics under the prior regime because "he was a child" or whatever? Red flags were waving on this guy when he couldnt pass the conditioning test. Now I'm sure he wants the time because he's draft eligible but oh well. To be honest he was our most effective DT last game IMO but at this rate he can look up the other guys'' handbook to making it as an undrafted FA

What is not just is that Luther was put at the top of the dopey depth chart which would imply he was starting at Boston College and he barely played. Grimble was not even on the depth chart and played over Luther, Grimble did nothing and Luther got a strip, yet Luther fell even further on the depth chart. Not saying that Luther is a great player but none of the d lineman are that good, so there is no real point to a depth chart with this position. Either get rid of the depth chart or dont give false hope, really not fair.

But seriously, does Luther order a Meat Lovers special tomorrow while watching the game?

I don't think the false hope thing is legitimate though. I mean Golden himself has said over and over again that the depth chart is fluid. Just because someone starts doesn't mean anything when you are trying to find an identity.

If us fans know that, well then I am sure the players know it even more. (or should)
