They aren’t mutually exclusive. He could be out for his best interests and looking for a college coaching gig. I’m just saying, would you have blamed him if he steered Shemar to A&M or UGA if Manny was still here? Maybe you would but reality is that it would have been a better move for Shemar. As I stated earlier, right or wrong the family and kid trust this guy. Who is to really say they shouldn’t? I don’t know the dude.
It’s not about steering kids. That has never really bothered me given how Miami has been as a program. This dude is clot chasing and acting like a weirdo with Shemar’s recruitment. Making it about himself.

Where I find issue is when these handlers steer kids for the benefit of themselves either financially Or professionally. An example would be steering a south Florida receiver to a school like Georgia.

Yea he was cheeks like AJ Mcaron and Tebow. I love Dorsey just have to be honest

Man I don’t know. People forget how god awful SF was in the early 2000s. Any hope Ken had to have a career was destroyed by that offensive line.

Guys like Ken and David Carr are why NFL coaches stopped throwing young quarterbacks to the wolves with terrible offensive line. Many quality prospects got destroyed throwing them out there just because fans wanted to see the high draft pick play.

Dorseys career would have been different if he was drafted by the Patriots, Buccs, Eagles, Rams, Steelers etc.

I love Dorsey, but he wasn’t that good.

Yea he probably wants to move up and is clinging on Stewart. If SS allows it that means he likes the dude no matter what his intentions are. It's like boxers when there fathers are doing interviews and talking shut for them lol. @Liberty City El knows what I'm talking about lol

How often do you see a recruit’s HS position coach at an in-home visit? That has to be rare. I hope Shemar knows he doesn’t owe his coach ****. You can’t teach that size with his athleticism.

I’m all for kids enjoying their recruitment. It’s these hanger on adults that I think are pathetic.
That's true but at the same time what if him in his coach have a father son relationship and are real good friends. Stewart could be a good dude trying to help him as well. Who really knows but yea this always looks bad for the coach in our eyes without knowing the context. It always looks bad lol

I am just gonna put this theory out:

Mario is going even harder on the trail now because he is coaching the Miami Hurricanes. He was already into it at Oregon but now, he went into ridiculous maximum overdrive.

Change my mind.

I've been saying this since the idea of him leaving Oregon for UM first surfaced. This isn't a job for him. This is a calling. Mario f'ing Cristobal failing at Miami would not be him failing the program. It would be him failing himself, his family and his father who passed, all his former coaches, classmates and teammates he bled for on Greentree, those who raised him at Columbus, the priests, the little old guys on Calle Ocho... everyone who helped shape him into the man he is today.

Mario is going to win big at Miami or die trying. Which is why it was the absolute best hire we could possibly make. Mediocrity is not an option.

He had ELITE decision making as a freshman. He could make all the throws but would check down when needed and that offense was unstoppable.

Ever since that Heisman winning season he has tried to play hero ball and force plays downfield.

He was awesome with the Buccs. If he just stopped forcing passes downfield that aren’t there, he would be a pro bowler.

That mutha ****** had 30 tds and 30 ints. Who the Fock does that?
I saw that.. it’s nuts!

When you look at pictures like that and then watch him move, how does anyone project him as anything other than some form of a DT? Is he 21 years old or something? He's a cot**** giant.
And in reps, he dominates without caring at times.

I can see why Ohio States coaches were nuts about him after they worked him out.

He actually played decent with the Saints this season, would be a shame if they gave up on him.

He played against New England with a good poise and didnt **** the ball away.

That Moe dude is a clown. Reeks of a dude who is going to steal money from Stewart or is trying to parlay this into a college coaching gig. Hope Shemar gets some good lawyers and financial advisors before this dude tries to milk him.

He will be controlling his NIL deals sooooooooo.....
but this isnt his first rodeo he was at U SCHOOL when they had a bunch of recruits.

I think Shemar's fam doesnt know football like that...so it was a in for him and he guiding Shemar being his direct coach...that being said im sure he loves "the recruitment" just as much as Shemar ..probably more so. Went to my high school, hes originally a NEW YORK dude though.

I think he is "in" so your going to have to recurit HIM just as hard as Shemar. I see them doing that though. But i cant call it with Shemar
s recruiting...i can see him coming to us...or anyone from UGA to Jackson State if they come with money
