I've been saying this since the idea of him leaving Oregon for UM first surfaced. This isn't a job for him. This is a calling. Mario f'ing Cristobal failing at Miami would not be him failing the program. It would be him failing himself, his family and his father who passed, all his former coaches, classmates and teammates he bled for on Greentree, those who raised him at Columbus, the priests, the little old guys on Calle Ocho... everyone who helped shape him into the man he is today.
Mario is going to win big at Miami or die trying. Which is why it was the absolute best hire we could possibly make. Mediocrity is not an option.
