I never said one thing about him goat. I said he was the hire people had the most issues with. I didn't automatically praise him just bc Mario brought him over. I brought it up a few days ago and people hated on it. now jay said it and now you see the light. the guy covering Oregon ball said the same. you can look at his recruitments and it speaks for itself. you can even look at who he developed there. hes a west coast guy that isn't already a good recruiter and hes moved to SFL where he doesn't have a connection like others. again, Mario trusts him so hes here regardless.

I might be naive but I’ve heard a lot of good things about Moe. Apparently he really stepped up for Shemar as the key man in his life and actually has his best interest in mind.

Would be really ****** if he turns out just doing it for the bag. Entirely possible I guess. South Florida can get dirty

Absolutely. I was even going to say he would be on an identical path of KT under Mario and joe. Same outlook on playing time at Miami as him when he went to Oregon, same coaches, strength coaches, etc.

He could literally just replicate what KT did and be a top 5-10 pick in 3 years so it doesn’t have to be a concern. It’s just how other schools are selling it.

Im talking general consensus, im just using your post! Nothing agaisnt yu per 'se but all of a sudden sum uga slurpers tell someone that they don't think its us now its doom and gloom in here!

Proof is in the pudding. Best recruit he signed as a “Primary recruiter” was a mid range 4* that didn’t do much.

Keith Heyward carried him in recruiting and essentially signed everyone on D at Oregon.

Chances are that no matter who Mario hires as a DC or OC, they're not going to be here 4 years. If it's a good hire they'll get a "promotion" somewhere. If it's a bad hire, hopefully Mario would fire them anyways.

Not sure why some kids don't see that. Most position coaches and coordinators are temporary. Especially at high level programs.

I said something similar to this in another thread... Alot of times coordinators being staying for ONE YEAR. So let's say we hire a DC that Shemar likes.... He leaves after next yr... Shemar going to hop in that portal???

everyone who knows more than us on here has said the same thing the "Oregon guy" said. that Oregon guy covers more than just Oregon and covers all their football. he would know the most. Thibs gave the most credit to heyward. hes the one that built that relationship with thibs. his recruiting list speaks for itself too. he wasn't the lead guy on most of the big recruitments there which isn't an issue when you have others that can Carry the weight. since hes the only guy we have hired, hasn't developed anyone noteworthy into top tier NFL guys, and isn't the strongest of recruiters, it hurts. hopefully Mario can close it out

One of my favorite Safeties ever. In that production tier with Eric Berry, Brian Dawkins, Leroy Butler. Only Earl did it with less size.

Maybe he just wasn't used as the primary recruiter that much. Doesn't necessarily mean he's bad..... I'm not disagreeing with you tho.

Well...I guess Moe and Shemar is expecting our DC to be here for at least 3yrs.

Earl never played safety until UT. And he was a 3 star (if that) recruit and it didn’t even want to take him. The prize they were after was Kenneth Beasley but he was a package deal with Earl. Earl was RB and corner in hs. They took Kenneth and Earl and the rest is history

My issue isn't with yu hoops! Its the posters who hear sum stuff from a program who is spitting venom bout us to land ss and we run with it like they knew we would!

looking at the article when he was hired, the one post where someone pointed out warts in the move, the dude got hated on and dint bother to hear where it came from. I get Navarro isn't liked, but he didn't say it. it was a dude who covered the ******* program, hs, and other Oregon schools for a living and has more info on him than us. then we find out that its more than just that dude that may have some issues with Joe. it isn't ht send of the world. Mario still got big time D guys there with Joe. but it is factual to say that heyward did the heavy lifting. we don't have that heyward yet on the d staff. we may and that may be the plan. we can just go by what we know right now. right now, a weak recruiter with no east coast track record is the only guy on staff. its an easy negative recruiting sell
