It’s a bad look, but there is a part of me that wouldn’t mind seeing a Florida or FSU hat go into a shredder.
See, we're imperfect creatures and admittedly, I would laugh.

I believe you. I can remember you being one of the only steady guys regarding him around here. That said, he is a rarity then. COVID took away quite a few of the “pressures” a lot of these kids face n any given recruiting cycle, especially in SFLA.I was one of the only posters on here saying we had a shot or where we were with him during recruitment. It wasnt a Guess by me...i knew the ppl around him and WE were all extreme cane fans obviously lol.
There is a difference ins omeone who "likes" a team as a kid and some one who is a "fan". James is a fan in that hes the type that would be on a CIS board, etc...Patrick Peterson liked us because we were good when he was a kid.
James was doing the visit run since he was a soph, and parents werent a factor here. He was ALWAYS a Cane lean hence him committing fairly early...there was a time where UGA made a move and he leaned there but for the most part he was a cane only to be lost by poor recruiting.
I dont know exactly which recruits Covid helped with but i dont think JW was one of them really.
Always be concerned with the school that just dropped a giant trophy in their trophy case.More likely than not.
There is a potential #2, but it's not aTm. Follow the hats.
I don’t think we are talking about the same thingsthe thing is i dont think it collapses.
Reason being if kids transfer out he can always supplement with the portal kids needing a home that typically wont transfer to an HBCU also he can get some grade casualty types as well.
What can and should happen though is other HBCU's continuing to beat them...teams like FAMU need to be on the rebound they have a solid coach now. SC State handed them something as well.
I'd be interested to see what Deion's vision is besides the short-term. What is his long-term outlook for Jackson State? Perhaps it is more grandiose than using it for a stepping stone to a D1 program. Coupled with Barstool money and other donations, could it be...the thing is i dont think it collapses.

I think i posted an interview he had with the podcast that Brandon Marshall, Chad Johnson, Channing Crowder had. If you would watch it in its entirety you would kind of see his mindset in regardsChanning Crowder essentially was charging him on all the things that we see posted on the board and he had the answers for it...also Brandon Marshall even asked him if NFL or another power 5 came what he gonna do,etc. He says he doesnt want NFL...he pretty much answered and said he is in the NOW...he doesnt think like that in regards to the power 5 ( a slight door crack asd i believe he would take a SPECIFIC power 5 or group of 5 job)I'd be interested to see what Deion's vision is besides the short-term. Step 1) Consistent, undefeated seasons at current level
Step 2) Facilities expansion. Get Jackson State's football facilities and amenities up to D1 standards
Step 3) Stadium expansion. Renovate Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Stadium. It's already 60K, but begin to add more amenities and skyboxes there. Again, winning will propel this along. Much like Art Briles success at Baylor propelled the new stadium that the school built
Step 4) Get into a D1 conference. Obviously it would not be be the SEC, but the ACC might be a prime candidate. It would be a power move that would offset some SEC schools

Manny was a whole bum pretending to be a HC.
If am a kid, um trolling people even when im not picking JSU.I hope tossing a JSU hat becomes a thing lol.

Deion's money is GOOD. I dont think Money is a real motivation for him. Coaching seems to be what he likes...JSU obviously isnt his ending point but his starting point. I actually praise him and Eddie George for getting their feet wet like this. They accepted that grind.
KEEP IN MIND THIS INTERVIEW IS BEFORE HE CLOCKED 4-5 STAR RECRUITS....so essentially he did exactly what he said he would in this interview.
Yeah i don't see that happening. What i think it might do is make alot of African americans struggling to find a HC job or so go to these schools and try to revive them. I think its a travesty that HBCU'S are not the best FCS teams. Funding sucks. They are all state schools in deep red states. And trust me i know, i went to one. The black million abd billionaires need to put their money where their mouth is imo. Thanks for providing that.
Just wondering thought if Deion could ultimately be a transformational figure for Jackson State, much like Bobby Bowden was for FSU or Frank Beamer for Virginia Tech. It would be interesting if he stayed for 15-20 years.
I thought he was definitely UGA cause they have smacked us when it came to dbs. After his decommit I wasn't confident I tell u that. Surprised we got him and LT I know gogeta and a few guys were saying UM all day from the rip.I believe you. I can remember you being one of the only steady guys regarding him around here. Happy as **** he didn’t have to go through as much of that, even if he was always a lock. This site was exclusively doom and gloom about his recruitment outside of you and a select few. Hilarious now the few jumping on your wagon after the fact acting like it was such a sure thing COVID didn’t affect #0.
Yep I can't even lie man, I can't even hate on dude like that. He actually seems solid.See I never get the context but I like this coach Moe guy. They have a tight relationship and I respect that they father n son type ain't nothing wrong with that.
That handler **** gets thrown around alot but he seems cool to me. I get why Shemar gravitated to him. Spoke good on Mario and Jimbo. He wasn't coming if Manny was here and I don't blame coach Moe not wanted his kid to play for him.Yep I can't even lie man, I can't even hate on dude like that. He actually seems solid.
