2022 Shemar Stewart goes A2M

Georgia hosted five-star Shemar Stewart this past weekend and like we always say on here, we like to wait until the visit high wears off a few days before gathering intel, but it is late in the signing period, so we worked the phones tonight. I have been upfront with where I think he ends up in the end and I would lean towards Miami for a while now.

Talked to a source close to him in South Florida on Sunday night and he told me , that Georgia has an legit shot and Stewart liked what he saw out of the Georgia defense this year. I will check back as the week goes on, but Georgia did not hurt any chance they had this weekend on his official.

Kirby Smart will be in-home on Wednesday to get his last visit in with him. He is expected to be at Miami next weekend for his last official visit.

I would still have to pick Miami but maybe Georgia has a better chance than I originally thought. Will Muschamp and Trey Scott will be in-home with CKS this week with him.

How do you say wait for this visit high to wear off before getting intel, but then say you have a legit shot the day buddy comes back from his visit?

It read to me like Manny just wasn't putting in the work. Maybe it was too much of a challenge for him and he focused more on what he thought were easier targets. JMO

I honestly believe Manny knew shemar would probably sign elsewhere so he left the responsibilities of recruiting a 5star local DL to .....DVD and TRob.

I don't think the politician wanted to be near any part of that recruitment.

I’m not saying Deon can’t be successful, I’m just saying you’re not gonna see 5 stars constantly picking JSU in the future

That’s not going to always happen. And technically he only pulled 1 five star this year who was also the number ranked recruit. That definitely won’t happen every year but he’ll get a 4 star and some solid 3 stars with a group of transfers. I don’t think anyone expects JSU to get 5 stars every year. And Hunter was a unique situation. He also played the same position as Prime. That’s like having the opportunity to get coached by Magic or AROD.
