The fact Richt felt he had to start Rosier AT ALL this season tells you about his failures as both a recruiter, and a developer of QB's.

Dude, CMR has signed 3 QB's during a full recruiting cycle...Weldon, Perry and Williams. Perry is the starter and certainly more talented at the position than anyone Golden ever signed and Williams has a good shot to beat him out this spring and be the future of the program at the position.

While not a good year on the field nor in recruiting...Randy Shannon and Al Golden were just horrible coaches and not up for the task to be the head man at this level. CMR is a proven good coach who needs to improve the offense and yes recruit better to get us back to the level we all expect of the Hurricanes.

Go back and look at the Golden recruiting years and see how many guys either didn't make it in, got kicked off the team, never made the field or just plain sucked. Complete disaster.

He was once a good recruiter. I suspect he is giving off negative vibes to croots now without realizing it. I'd imagine he used to come across as confident, but he looks terrible now. Non-verbals matter. Teens are intuitive. They SEE where more than they HEAR. when dealing with adults.

He was a good recruiter because he had bagmen following him around dropping cash. He was not a good recruiter.

The last year of the previous 3 bums was a diaster for recruiting. This class feels like those years but we all know Richt isn't getting fired so this is even more depressing.

Remember the year randy got fired? At that time, it was november and the man had Duke johnson and like one other kid in the class.

Randy takes the cake, but even Al was worse than Rick imo.

Ricks missed on the elite kids, but if a competent coach had this roster that Rick has built, we prob win 10 this year.

Rick still sucks tho.

Just look at our 2010 class and weep

Pretty tough to take that many kids and fail so miserably. That was a team crushing class.

Everyone is overreacting! We have talent and depth on the current roster! Yes, we were inexperienced in key positions, especially leadership offensive. The coaching staff and players will turn it around in the spring.

The Coker promotion started this death spiral, but Shannon was the worse. Richt though is coming on strong and can pass up Shannon as the worst with 2019s performance.

Are you kidding, Around 2009 or so the only qb we had on scholly was Stephen Morris and his backup was Spencer Whipple, Cant ever be worse then that.
