Serious question - Is Mork Richt THE worst recruiter we've ever had here?

Not even remotely close.

Remember the year randy got fired? At that time, it was november and the man had Duke johnson and like one other kid in the class.

Randy takes the cake, but even Al was worse than Rick imo.

Ricks missed on the elite kids, but if a competent coach had this roster that Rick has built, we prob win 10 this year.

Rick still sucks tho.

This definitely a bad year... don’t remember a class looking this bad other than the 2015 class at this point in the season. They better close with their top targets...

Based on all the facts.

- We're in his 3rd full year
- Probation is in the rear view mirror and no longer an excuse
- Homeboy is getting paid A LOT of money, especially by our standards

Sorry, but relative to those facts he's worse than Randy and Golden AS A RECRUITER. Come to think of it he's pretty much as bad as the aformentioned from a coaching standpoint as well.

Dark times.

I want to see the spin when we sign zero OL this year or maybe one or two at most. Especially when the unit needs a major overhaul.

The only ones spinning on this point are the DBJ retards who care more about coaching staffs and administrations than the program itself.

Richt is destroying what's left of this program, and there is still more to come.

Anyone here thinking he’s worse than Randy must not remember. Shannon had one good class then basically quit recruiting. He did literally nothing to try and land kids. The year he was fired he had 2-3 commits at one point during the season. The year before that he threw a bunch of offers to scrubs and said he only wanted kids “who knew they wanted to be Canes” ie kids he didn’t have to recruit really. He was an atrocious recruiter and Golden and Richt were/are considerably better. Honestly Richt and Golden are on par though I don’t remember Golden ever having a class quite as bad as this one is shaping up

Randy would have had a class with Duke Johnson,Teddy Bridgewater, Eli Rodgers just off the top of my head...all NFL current players.
This is developing into one of the worst classes in awhile...BUT they still have time to redeem it.
 
He needs to stop recruiting like we are a Top 5 program right now, cause we're not. The staff goes after their top targets and only their top targets, cause they are too ****y

We need to communicate and recruit the "Plan B's" alot better.

It's the difference between a class ranked 10-15 that continues to build team depth, and a class ranked 25-30 that missed on Plan As and Plan Bs
