Sad state of affairs when the best we have to to showcase our program in the senior bowl are Stephen Morris, Seantrel Henderson, and Brandon Linder. The following analysis was provided this morning on the Joe Rose Show by one of the "draft experts" who has attended the Senior Bowl practices.
Stephen Morris: Has done nothing to improve his draft status. Has trouble reading defenses and struggles hitting open receivers. Poor footwork, and has generally looked terrible.
Seantrel Henderson: Teams are intrigued; however, one NFL Scout described him as having "A millionaire body with a 10 cent brain". Will look great for a couple of plays, and then look absolutely terrible on others.
Brandon Linder: Hasn't hurt or helped his status. Probably going to be a late round pick; however, is the kind of player that can have a long career as a back-up in the NFL. (Of all our seniors, I really liked Linder and Hurns, both very workman like and no one can ever doubt the effort they gave)
No surprises here.
