Sad state of affairs when the best we have to to showcase our program in the senior bowl are Stephen Morris, Seantrel Henderson, and Brandon Linder. The following analysis was provided this morning on the Joe Rose Show by one of the "draft experts" who has attended the Senior Bowl practices.

Stephen Morris: Has done nothing to improve his draft status. Has trouble reading defenses and struggles hitting open receivers. Poor footwork, and has generally looked terrible.

Seantrel Henderson: Teams are intrigued; however, one NFL Scout described him as having "A millionaire body with a 10 cent brain". Will look great for a couple of plays, and then look absolutely terrible on others.

Brandon Linder: Hasn't hurt or helped his status. Probably going to be a late round pick; however, is the kind of player that can have a long career as a back-up in the NFL. (Of all our seniors, I really liked Linder and Hurns, both very workman like and no one can ever doubt the effort they gave)

No surprises here.

He is what he is, just being consistent.

Exactly.

Not that it matters, but that was one expert. "Millionaire body with 10 cent brain"... Yeah, that is half the NFL, buddy.

Morris always was what he was going to be. Wildly inconsistent. He won't be a starter, and probably won't be a 2nd QB either. Easy to blame coaches for his "development" but some kids don't develop beyond anything they've shown. It happens all the time, in all programs, on all NFL teams.

And lulz at Eric Linder. Get a clue guy. Reeks of some jag off T-shirt fan upset because NFL scouts aren't blowing the mediocre/atrocious senior class.

Morris is 7th round UFA at best. Linder 4th-6th, and Henderson may be a 3rd-4th rounder, but more than likely 5th round.

If morris is drafted it will be late round and to Jacksonville, also wouldnt be suprised to see hurns end up to the Seahawks

So much for us having all this O-line talent. Our best Lineman (Linder) isn't even making waves.

I think reality is starting to hit people smack in the face. This past team was average at best.
Duke nudged the talent level meter up a bit but after he went down it was over.

People fell in love with height and weight measurements and thought instantly the OL line would dominate. Too bad they need to be smart and agile too...
