We would have scored on anybody. JJ also could have scored 21 by himself on us lol. Wild season.Biggest takeaway to me was just how far we are from having a championship level defense.
But offensively, we would’ve been the best unit in the entire playoffs imo.

Like I said, I think that just brings them closer together. I think you'll sooner see them agree to 9 conference games each with an OOC agreement between the 2 conferences. Leaving USC as the only P2 team to schedule ND year-in and year-out.How about 2 or 3 championship by Cinderella?
Not about ND it can be any team not from the BIG or SEC....we need schools from those 2 conferences not to win a championship in the near future.Like I said, I think that just brings them closer together. The narrative of the ACC and Big XII being part of the G5 now just intensifies leaving ND having to go undefeated each year for a shot at the playoffs.
And thanks for ruining my appetite with the idea of ND winning 2 or 3 NC's. :****:
That would make too much sense. Of course, it would involve foresight and most importantly, cooperation. Both of which are nonexistent today. The colleges have the best case study in how to organize and operate a sports league right in front of their faces (NFL) and yet, choose to follow the path they are on.None of those teams were actually as good as their rankings, which shows you why all the **** rankings need to go away. Get divisions and conferences, much like the NFL. It's past time to get rid of all freaking opinions when it comes to playoffs and crowning a champion. If you're going to pay the players, you'd might as well have an NFL model for the playoffs.
I am sick and tired of hearing about how some teams had a tougher schedule because they played teams that were ranked. And when the rankings are bogus/biased, then what? It's just another tool for them to get the matchups they want, for the ratings they want, for the profits they desire.
They don't do it because it would be impossible for them to control the narrative. It's all about control, which really means it's a fixed/rigged "sport". When you have opinions, committees, and idiotic rankings, you control **** near everything. You can excuse leaving Miami out because of their lack of top 25 wins. It's all BS.That would make too much sense. Of course, it would involve foresight and most importantly, cooperation. Both of which are nonexistent today. Agreed that other "conferences" need to have success for that to occur. Of course, do you think those non-P2 schools that hypothetically win NCs over the next few years don't just become the newest members of the P2?Not about ND it can be any team not from the BIG or SEC....we need schools from those 2 conferences not to win a championship in the near future.
