You guys do know you’re not required to root for either of them right? If you must, hate watch it and root for the meteor ☄️

Larry Coker gave away our soul that night. No way in **** that game should have even been close, let alone come down to a bad call by an official.

That was the game I realized that Ken Dorsey isn't as good as we think he is. Nice QB but Ohio State dared him to beat them and he didn't. 100 percent correct on Coker and I was never for that hire. The players got their way on Coker getting that job

And you think this supposed backlash would benefit the ACC in some way? Um, just don't see it. If anything, it strengthens the bond between the B1G and SEC.

I'd rather see the divide and conquer strategy in play. Make the SEC jealous of the B1G's success.
Don't care about the ACC the BIG or SEC....my only reasoning is for every P5 team to have the same rules and the same road to the championship. That's all!!

Let me paint a scenario: After spurning his hometown team on NSD, and winning a National Title with The Ohio State Suckeyes, Jeremiah Smith shocks the world a few days later vowing to “set things right” and bring a title back to The U. A true Hollywood ending that sells itself. Hey, ya boy can dream, can’t he?

Everyone should be pulling for ND. Could you imagine ND winning the CFP championship and not being in a conference. THE SEC and the BIG would be up in arms because ND gets to hand pick their schedule with the exception of the 5 ACC teams they have to play annually.
According to Lane Kiffens the ACC is the minor league. So yes if ND winning the chip kicks up a backlash from the kings of college football, then so be it.
I actually thought about this as well and fully agree. I've already heard some media hate for ND because they're "not in a conference". I think if they win the natty, the bigger discussion would be about that instead of them actually winning lol.

I know man but still. Everything was just horrible that night. The Mcgahee injury, Sean T int and then gets stripped smh. Evil was in the air that night lol
We should’ve burned Gore’s redshirt to win the championship that night! He was fully healed and could’ve played. Jarrett Payton was a subpar rb and couldn’t get any yards running at all. McGahee was finally getting hot and breaking through when he got hurt too 🤦🏻‍♂️

Stupid Coker thinking his star RB would lose a year of eligibility if he played, not understanding that most really good RBs were leaving for the NFL before their senior years anyway.

The hiring of Larry Coker is what destroyed our program, not getting screwed by the refs against Ohio State.

It's not fair for ND to not be in a conference we both acknowledged that, but how many Nattys did Bama win when they did not even make the SEC conference championship game.

Where is the uproar for that 🤔. I just want this whole thing blown up and get some consistency in the greatest sport...in my opinion!

I was trying to be reasonable and think about who I would want to win and both are miserable

I guess if you're holding a gun to my head I would say I'd rather ND win because Riley Leonard just is a normal guy in football pads and he's making it happen.

Also because I'm 33 so I never experienced our true rivalry with ND. I do vividly remember the Ohio State - Miami national title game and I also think it would be funny for OSU and Oregon to both not win with the most expensive rosters in football AND for the BIG 10 and SEC to not win the title

the above option comes right after stadium implosion though

Ohio St is gonna roll ND.... Expect something close to the same score as the Texas game.... OSU is on a mission .... they're hittin on all cylinders right now...

Absolutely, I agree that would be great. I just don't see any way that is happening now. The conferences have shown they are only out for their own selfish interests by the fact the P5 is now the P4 and the disparity in how playoff money is distributed. I don't think a NC by Cinderella ND changes a thing.
