Also because I'm 33 so I never experienced our true rivalry with ND. I do vividly remember the Ohio State - Miami national title game and I also think it would be funny for OSU and Oregon to both not win with the most expensive rosters in football AND for the BIG 10 and SEC to not win the title

Same age as you and I agree. Being a 11 year old kid wrapped up in that game celebrating a victory to then watch us lose is unfortunately the most burned in memory I have as a Canes fan. It hurt. On the right side my second most memorable moment is Andre Johnson walking in the end zone pretty much untouched at the Rose Bowl vs Nebraska. All that to say I will never ever root for OSU to win anything.

I agree he has everything going in his favor but let's keep it real that Harrison and JSmith freaks are probably 98% them and their prior coaching/habits and 2% Hartline.

Playing against the best defense in the country and his INT was practically a Hail Mary he played pretty well.

Ppl questioning Sarks play calling evidently didn't see how terrible he was in the second half vs Ga in the SEC title game. He calls runs on first and second down and throws on third. He has tendencies and good DCs know it. Now it the first half he's a totally different coach.

I will never forget that moment sweating my *** off in humid night against VT like "oh ****, the defense is ******* broken, no one knows what the **** to do and we cant even line up"

It was still being swept away and most wanted to lean on "the offense just has to be perfect and other teams cant score 40+ like us" but you just cant have a defense where everyone is confused by slight movement and motion and cant even line up fundamentally sound without setting an edge. This is week 1 in spring install stuff, we were victims of coaching malpractice and thats before the talent holes in secondary

Every good oc has sh^tty play calling moments, sark who is a savant has had spotty playcalling moments since the sec championship game

None of those teams were actually as good as their rankings, which shows you why all the **** rankings need to go away. Get divisions and conferences, much like the NFL. It's past time to get rid of all freaking opinions when it comes to playoffs and crowning a champion. If you're going to pay the players, you'd might as well have an NFL model for the playoffs.

I am sick and tired of hearing about how some teams had a tougher schedule because they played teams that were ranked. And when the rankings are bogus/biased, then what? It's just another tool for them to get the matchups they want, for the ratings they want, for the profits they desire.
