You sound ridiculous..... Seantrel Henderson is the best RT on this team hands down.
I don't think I've ever seen him get knocked on his *** like Linder did on that sack against GT. Guys don't like Seantrel because they don't think he's lived up to his hype, but he's a good RT, and he's capable of great performances against big opponents. He's a good guy to have around when we play fsu and Vag Tech.
Mentioned that Linder *** flop earlier.
I understand that people are down on Seantrel, but if you look at him objectively as a player, it is hard to dismiss the obvious: talent wise he's the best offensive tackle we've had since Mount McKinnie.
Yes, better than Flowers, who is great.
Seantrel has been stoning edge rushers since he was a freshman.
He makes his man disappear.
You haters don't like him for whatever reasons, but NFL people are licking their chops.
His measurables scream top 3 pick in the draft. He won't go that high. Probably a 2nd round pick, which NFL gm's will love. Top talent without having to use a top pick, because of off the field issues.
If you don't think he's that talented, just watch him pass block.
There isn't a tackle in college that is better than him at pass blocking.
So he is so talented that he cant even start at left tackle?!? He has been a colossal disappointment. As Bomb pointed, there is no excuse for a redshirt senior to make bonehead decisions. None.
First off he's not a redshirt senior.
He's a senior.
S
econdly, how do you know he made a bonehead decision?
You don't. You are just guessing.
He violated a team rule, and since neither you, I nor anyone else on this board is a member of the team, all we can do is speculate.
Thirdly, the team has been disappointing for the 3 years up until this year.
Seantrel has played quite well when he has played, which is since he was a freshman.
Lastly, he is the starting right tackle. That doesn't mean he can't play left tackle. Could mean that Flowers isn't that good at right tackle.
Seem to remember that coming off an injury it was easier for Seantrel to move to his right so right tackle it was.
Before you say, "right tackles don't get drafted in the first round," what position does Fluker play?
Go watch Seantrel's tape without blind venom in your heart, and you will see something your hatred wouldn't allow you to before.
6'8" 330lbs but not Andre Smith blubber, feet like a dancer, long, long *** arms.
Add to that, that his bench numbers would have put him in the top 5 at last year's combine for OT's, and you have everything an NFL team looks for in a franchise offensive tackle.
I'm actually curious if he has a shot at a medical redshirt after the season. Might be in his best interests to apply for one, ball out for another year and enter the draft as a redshirt senior.
