Sean Spence weighs in on the Defense...interesting read

That would appear to be a validation of d'onfrio and an indictment of the players, talent and depth. His opinion should have some substance to it.

We are a 3-4 now they ran the 4-3 when spence was here. So i would say it's not the scheme he played in.

So we're picking and choosing which ex-player's opinions to believe, I guess.

farce...but I ain't sippin that kool-aid. What I trust is what i'm seeing, and what i'm seeing is us getting drubbed week after week.

I value the opinions of Spence, Futch, and Blades just as much as I value those of Winston and Starks. At the end of the day, though, that's all they are...opinions. Just like every one of us here. None of us is right or wrong, and our opinions, quite frankly, don't matter. Unless we're in the locker room, on the practice field, in the film room, on the sidelines, we don't know jack, and I guarantee that AG and Coach D aren't telling us jack.

Dear God are you clowns really gonna act like you understand football more than Sean spence?

It comes down to toughness, tackling , playing physical. Which coach is at fault there? Hint, his name rhymes with swasey

There is nothing anyone can say that can convince me the the philosophy implemented is not the reason we suck against bottom feeders.

Are you going to act like you understand football more than Eric Winston or Duane Starks? What makes Sean Spence's opinion more valuable?

I think Sean Spence knows more about Coach D's scheme than most internet posters.

Well, a lot people been saying the talent is not there... But, nobody likes to point the finger at the kids...

We know there has been a lot cf turn over. Golden had to scramble year one with only 1 month to fill the class thanks to Randy.

Year 2 & 3 were done during a **** storm. I'm surprised we got who we did, however, there were a bunch of suspect / borderline kids too...

Those are the ones that are flaking out now or being upgraded with better talent coming in the door...

Unfortunately, the fans don't care. They just want to win now in this instant gratification world we live in!!!

In the end, It's still great to be a miami hurricane!

i don't care if Ed Reed, Jimmy Johnson, Jesus Christ, and God endorses the defense.

if it ain't working. it ain't working.

and right now, it ain't working.

SS is a true cane and one of the few bright spots for us in recent years. But I'm sorry Starks and Winston have played for a long time at the NFL level. They have more football knowledge than SS.
