Mateer signature game was vs who? when? where? numbers?

Kirby Smart UGA has 3 losses in the last 25+ games. 2 of those came to Milroe. Milroe has as many big time wins as Mateer has wins period.

Milroe had 35 total TDs last year and 36 this year vs tier 1 competition. Whatever the price is we should pay it.

But since you’re not banned what exactly is a better option?
 
I'm gonna be very basic in my response so people understand what the **** I am trying to say:

Last year, at the same exact point, Reese Poffenbarger was our QB that we wanted to roll with, along with Emory Williams.

He couldn't beat out Emory. Emory was atrocious in a competitive game situation where IT MATTERED.

Point me to a QB rn or anywhere likely to enter better than Milroe. Just try.

I haven’t seen enough of Mateer to completely agree with this but I will say that people forget Mateer played essentially a mountain west schedule this year

Milroe had a down year this year but an excellent 2023 - all against vast different competition

It’s enough to wonder if Mateer will be able to adjust to SEC play and whether milroe regressed in Deboer’s offense
 
Milroe could be the best to choose from. My question is how does he fit into offense? He would seem to have a different skill set then what Dawson is used to.

Ironic that many on here didn't want Mensah but would take him now, many on here didn't want Mendoza but would take him now...2 guys I thought we should have gone after. We know what we have in Emory...a QB with a wet noddle for an arm and no mobility.

Milroe has at least won several big games and if the defense is improved (can't possibly be worse), we could get to 9 or 10 wins with Milroe. But Mario will probably **** this up like he did in 2023 when he failed to bring in a transfer QB to compete with TVD

Cam Ward’s signature game was who? when? where? numbers? It’s about translatable skills. People who didn’t watch Cam said LITERALLY the exact same ****. “Oh he beat up on bad teams.” “His stats against UCLA” etc etc. People are in here talking about Mateer playing a MW schedule as if he wasn’t playing with a MW team. Milroe had as many if not more advantages against Vandy and Oklahoma as Mateer did against his schedule.

I’m done with this argument. A bunch of you have seen Milroe highlights and glanced at his stats and decided he can become a completely different player than what he is. He’s better than Emory, nobody is disputing that. But the first time a team takes away the run and makes him beat them with his arm and he freezes up, walks into sacks, throws some of the worst interceptions you’ve ever seen, and looks like a deer in headlights, just know that’s what we signed up for. Which is FINE. But the ******* floor with Jalen Milroe is not 9 or 10 wins.

I was just about to ask, where is all this transfer discussion even coming from?

I keep reading he's a 1st round pick. You can think that's crazy, but this same league picked Zach Wilson and lots of other bums in the 1st round too so what do I know. But if he is in fact going in 1st or even 2-3rd round, if he's not in Bama next year, he's in the NFL.
