Saturday's Attendance Is Gonna Be Rough

I walk the dog close to Boyd stadium in Vegas a few times a week, looks like a cheap stadium to build it would be perfect. I think it holds close to 45 thousand, Miami the school needs to get off their asses and do this.

All the more reason for a 45,000 stadium somewhere in South Dade. Book one game a year with FSU at Sun Life and call it a day.

UCF has an oversized HS stadium, the place gets crazy...

And UCF has 60,000 students. That is not a misprint. 60,000.

Not taking one side or the other (actually not really sure the argument) but a lot of UCF students (less than 10 years ago, but still a decent #) are UF and FSU fans.

What the fawk is wrong with guys who are big enough fans to be hanging on these boards but wouldn't go watch the team on Saturday? Funny thing is, they will be the same porsters who start complaining of all the bandwagon fans and talk up their true die-hard fan status when we are on top. This board is so soft and whiny right now; it's embarrassing.

Friends and I made sure to book our flights on Sunday, as opposed to today/tomorrow for Thanksgiving break so we could watch our last home game.....

Not regretting that choice, but now I really wouldn't care at all if I missed....

I dont give a **** what anybody thinks about me. Yes..I am not going to the game because I have had enough of this season. Too many excuses and WAY too many people coming to the defense of mediocrity for my liking. (Speaking to the coaching staff)

Just accept responsibility and say the D sucks. Stop blaming players. I cant waste a Sat rooting for a coach that is this stubborn. Jimmy was NEVER this stubborn. He took it like a man. He TOLD you changes were coming and YOU KNEW he wasnt BSin' you. Butch talked alot of BS but he knew what had to be done and he DID IT. Losing was one thing. Getting absolutely EMBARASSED and then trying to "jedi mind trick" the fans was another.

Call me a fairweather fan if you want. 33 years and still gunnin'..Very few can match that. But that Duke loss took alot out of me. Vtech i could deal with because there was a small piece of me that knew those clowns would slip up. AND THEY DID AND WE STILL BLEW IT! Smh. I will root from my couch..

Thanks to the Seniors that gave it there all but it just wasnt good enough. (mainly Linder, Green, Porter, Robinson, Hurns, Wheeler and Eduardo) I know you tried to leave SOME kind of legacy for these younger guys to follow unlike the senior classes before you. You still have a shot at winning 10 games and leaving your mark. Thanks to the transfers that tried to come in and help out this sorry excuse for a team. (Mainly Renfrow) And Thanks to the younger guys who tried to help out but just arent there yet. We know better days are coming. Look forward to the ride. Keep ya head up. (mainly Jenkins, Duke, Waters, Flowers, McCord, AQM, Burns, Coley and Crawford.)

I went to like 5 games that year with like 5,000 people in attendance. A couple of years later they won the Stanley Cup and you couldn't dream of getting tickets.

this. its such a stupid argument. maybe some people work on weekends or can't afford to go to games (tickets, parking, food, etc). who cares what other ppl do? just worry about you showing up and thats it.

I'm in the 400 section and didn't receive that email. Perhaps they targeted season ticket holders who don't attend regularly, believing they need to bribe them. I've gotten frequent emails recently but they've been, "Thanks for attending the xxxx game," or "Thanks for standing by the U (after the NCAA verdict)," and several basketball ticket offers, but nothing regarding offer of lower bowl tickets for Virginia.

I would have considered it an insult. I sit low upper deck because I prefer it. I can't imagine sitting lower deck in that venue, let alone actually paying more for it.
