Saturday's Attendance Is Gonna Be Rough

Well then, I'll have the whole place to myself. Parking will be a breeze, plenty of room to throw the ball around at taligate, but the C-A-N-E-S cheer is gonna be weak.

So what. GO CANES!

Yeah, but when you throw it, you might have to go get it.

(My sports fanatic, U attending student son who knows some players just texted me "Golden has them buying in").

That was pretty obvious by the tremendous effort they gave against Puke last Saturday.

Corch Koresh's brainwash games run deep. Seems like the only ones not really buying into Corch Koresh's cult are the players.

Yep. I said it already, I am not even concerned about the final score, or how many yards UVA has. I will be paying close attention to effort, hustle, enthusiam and on field leadership.
Everyone can be pumped up for the UF or FSU game. Lets see what the staff and players can do about getting the kids excited and focused coming off a 3 game losing streak playing in front of less people in the stands than there is taking tickets at the gates.

People rip Miami fans, but I'm actually thankful that support fluctuates with performance. If it didn't, then there'd be no real incentive to change anything. An empty house and angry fans puts pressure on the administration to force change. This is what happened with C0cker and Shanntard. Money talks.

The fans are the biggest reason the Cubs remain irrelevant.

Fans show up no matter what, even if it's not to watch the game, so they remain losers. There's no incentive to put a better product on the field.

Correct. Happens all over the place. It's a money game.

I think it's a smart idea... Rewards those that have season tickets!!! Plus, those folks might be inclined to buy those tickets the following year!

You know what? At this point, I really don't give a flying **** about the feelings of the players, the seniors included. I've donated $$, bought season tickets, gone to away games, bowls games, you name it. These kids (most of them) are on full scholarship, getting $200,000+ of free education to a Top 50 university. Cry me a river if they're offended that because of their ****** play, them not giving any effort on defense, and their crappy coaches, 20,000 people show up to watch them struggle to beat a high school team on Saturday.

I'm a diehard Canes fan. Have been since birth, always will be, but the players can suck it up and deal with it, or go to an SEC school where they'll get 80,000 fans every game regardless of their record, and when that record is 5-7, they'll also likely get called the "N" word by 50,000 of those fans.

and that is 1,248 too many

What the fawk is wrong with guys who are big enough fans to be hanging on these boards but wouldn't go watch the team on Saturday? Funny thing is, they will be the same porsters who start complaining of all the bandwagon fans and talk up their true die-hard fan status when we are on top. This board is so soft and whiny right now; it's embarrassing.

I walk the dog close to Boyd stadium in Vegas a few times a week, looks like a cheap stadium to build it would be perfect. I think it holds close to 45 thousand, Miami the school needs to get off their asses and do this.
All the more reason for a 45,000 stadium somewhere in South Dade. Book one game a year with FSU at Sun Life and call it a day.

UCF has an oversized HS stadium, the place gets crazy...
