Joe Brady wants to stay in the league not come back to college, also by the look of things he is first in line to replace Dorsey as OC.

I think Dorsey is another season away from getting a HC offer. I hope not because it would be great to see him get a HC job. And Brady is probably making around 300-400k per year as a WR Coach in the NFL. He could literally earn up to 2 million more per year as UMs OC. If he turns down 2.3 million per year to be OC for the team he grew rooting for in favor of a job he's not guaranteed to get in the NFL , then I'd question his intelligence. I have a feeling that money talks.

Dorsey is 1000% getting a HC offer this offseason

We have two NFL type DTs... we need more out of the DE position and depth across the DL. We are in a much better position on DL than OL which needs a bunch of bodies.
The problem is depth. It takes a couple of years to get them ready. By then Taylor and Jackson will have moved on. Who do we have in the pipeline now?

While I love Pancake and Francis, I think Miami would be much better off retaining Nelson, Campbell, and Rivers and adding 1-2 portal kids that are seniors. Rotate in Pancake, Francis, Cooper, McCoy, and others that are ready for a series or half but don't expect CFP-level play out of the OL with multiple freshmen starters.
CFP should be a banned acronym when talking about this team. Francis is ready to play. There is no reason to hood him back when this team will be scraping to win 8 games. Elite players need experience for better or worse. Mix Francis and Pancake with Nelson, Campbell and Rivers and I would be willing to be we get a neutral/positive result in terms of wins.

I’m okay adding portal guys for depth but portal starters I couldn’t disagree more. I don’t care about 1 extra win. Build and develop for the future get these dudes reps now!

RG Mauigoa
RT Campbell
pancake first in rotation at tackle
Cooper first in rotation at guard

I highly doubt he took a 300k a year job in Buffalo if UM assumingely was offering $1.5m or so given our salary pool.

I don't think the UM OC job was ever close to bring offered to him. Bradys spread offense is 180 degrees from Cristobals preferred style of O. This would require Cristobal to join the 21st century. I suspect a spread offense was totally off the table when Cristobal took the job, but given the recent struggles, maybe he will finally be receptive to a new philosophy.
