Ronald Delancey got his offer

Even if it is as a fake offer, they should've just offered months ago with the chance to earn a legit one over the course of the season.

This is insane. I have seen it all now. Now we have 3 star divas. Its one thing to go after a 5 star diva that thinks they are better than they really are, but a 3 star diva, that thinks 3 stars are the GOATs. Not only is he a diva, but a delusional diva. This kid has lockerroom cancer written all over him.

The kid hasn't even graduated yet and he is already making excuses for why he is only a 3 star. Not only is he making excuses, he is actually trying to say the reasons teams are bad is because they don't have enough 1,2, and 3 stars LMFAO.

Couldn't be the furthest from the truth.

He's literally one of the leaders of the team & is one of the most well liked players in South Fla across the board. He's highly respected amongst his teammates & is nowhere close to being a diva.

He's just a kid with a chip on his shoulder & speaking on how he feels overlooked as a recruit. Don't get caught up in your strict star requirements for recruits & misinterpret what he's saying.

He's not that kinda kid at all, he's one of the Defensive catalyst for the best Defense in South Fla.

I misjudged than and will admit it.

I was just going off that absolutely ridiculous tweet he sent out.

I have no star requirements. I know kids slip under the radar sometimes, but this guy is saying the complete opposite, and that 3 stars are in general, better than 4 and 5 stars, which is obviously total BS.

9 times out of 10 kids who are delusional and wont accept their hand, end up being losers. This kid is the 1 out 10.

I get what you mean but that's not what he's trying say, he's just saying that teams lose sight of under the radar kids.

He's a 17/18 year old kid, cut'em a little slack he's just speaking his mind lol

I feel you bro. If you say the kid is legit, hes legit. I just am the opposite of the kid so I have a hard time siding with him.

I am the type that, if I was a 3 star, I would be ****ed and would try to prove to everyone I am better than a 3 star. I wouldn't be tweeting about how 3 stars really are the best lol.

He's right, but a bunch of 2 and 3 stars are too, the logic is flawed. Evaluation is not an exact science we know that.
I doubt he would be saying this if he was a blue chip tho.

People on here only like to say he doesn't because they don't believe he's ever supposed to be accountable for CB recruiting but it's complete nonsense.

Every position coach has a hand in which players at their position gets offered. It varies from team to team & some staffs do it differently. Some coaches depending on their cache can offer a kid off their own autonomy based on how well they recruit & coach the position (for example a guy like Corey Raymond or a T-Rob) could offer any DB they want on their own, but most position coaches will have a particular player that they're evaluating & it will be based off of the recruiting board that the staff puts together & that position coach will essentially be assigned to certain prospects based on the region/area they recruit & which player in particular it is. They usually have to run it past their Coordinator & HC but most of that stuff is decided in congruency together when they're assembling the board & slotting each prospect as to where they value them.

Rarely are a position coach, a coordinator & a HC in super disagreement about a player, a coach can really campaign & pound the table for a specific player he may like based on tape he's seen & his eval, but the majority of the time position coach/coordinator/HC are usually all on the same page on which prospects they want to target & who they're going after.

I’ve been the leader of the Rumph/Banda train for years now. I’m at a point where it’s time to grab my bag and get off at the next stop. Can’t defend them anymore. Great coaches. I’ll still say that to the death. But there inability to recruit is killing us. Might be time to move on. Hate to say it. This is a prime example.

To offer this kid this late knowing we need CBs? **** we offered Marcus Clarke! He’s a 3*. Why not offer Delancy at the same time? Smh. Inexcusable.
