It's been said before in other threads but Kevin Sumlin as OC/QB coach would be nice considering his track record recruiting QBs
Actually Ponce’s resume craps all over Likens which isn’t saying a lot.
Likens is a career wr coach that has failed at oc both times he did if. I don’t get how one can mention a guy for a job that’s 0-2 in his two attempts.Frank Ponce
Coaching Experience
1992: La Progresiva Presbyterian School (Offensive coordinator)
1993-96: Coral Gables H.S. (Quarterbacks/Wide receivers)
1998: Miami Northwestern H.S. (Quarterbacks)
1999-2000: Miami Central H.S. (Offensive coordinator/QBs)
2002-03: Miami Coral Reef H.S. (Head coach)
2004-06: Miami Senior H.S. (Head coach/Offensive coordinator)
2007-12: Florida International (Wide receivers)
2013-18: App State (Co-Offensive coordinator, Passing game/QBs)
2019-20: Louisville (Passing game coordinator/QBs)

All I remember is Kendal Briles had no answers as FSU’s OC vs Miami’s defense. Kept calling the same trick play over and over.
Maybe he’s been better since but that was a pretty bad look
Sources?I don't think Likens is even being considered to be kept on staff at this point.
I don't have any. Just using context clues and comparing his Twitter with the guys that are likely to stay like DVD, TRob, Field. He hasn't tweeted anything about signing day or new recruits or retweeted Cristobal.Sources?
So you'd be embarrassed if Mario actually decided that? Because it would be his call and no one else's.Cool, I’d be embarrassed if we lured Mario Cristobal home with promises of the world and we hired Rob Likens to be our OC.
I think Rob Likens as Miami's new OC/WR Coach with David Yost as QB Coach would be a great offensive combination .
Yost has been out of football for 2 years since he was scapegoated at TTech by the former head coach. Yost is a very good QB developer and his spread concepts are highly creative and effective.
Pairing him with Likens would definitely keep UM'S offense rolling at averaging 40pts per game.

Got****! I feel sorry for that treadmill
So Andy ReidHis standards for an OC are same as his preference in women
Yep. He would be like the 82nd ranked Air raid OC in AmericaWeird Yost has been out of football for 2 years. He was a real up and comer I thought.

No more Applebee's! We're a **** Sperrys nowOf course I would. We’re ******* rich. Is Alabama hiring Rob Likens? Is UGA hiring Rob Likens? Wake me up when Ryan Day gives him a call. This is silly. Y’all gotta wake up, I know this is hard cause trust me I’m just as used to being broke as everyone else, but this ain’t Applebee’s anymore. We go to Berns on a Tuesday. Eat up, ************. Rob Likens AINT it.
