Rob Likens as Miami OC with David Yost as QBC would be great.

The only coaches I would keep are T-Rob (excellent track record) and Hickson (has done a really good job here). I would move Field back to where Mario had him at Oregon: Recruiting Director, and stick DVD under him. With T-Rob coaching all DB's and eliminating the Tight End Coach position (They can be coached by OL and REC coaches), we can hire a Special Teams Specialist AND a top-flight QB coach.
Oh, and NO on Likens as OC.

I think Rob Likens as Miami's new OC/WR Coach with David Yost as QB Coach would be a great offensive combination .

Yost has been out of football for 2 years since he was scapegoated at TTech by the former head coach. Yost is a very good QB developer and his spread concepts are highly creative and effective.

Pairing him with Likens would definitely keep UM'S offense rolling at averaging 40pts per game.

No thanks. Moving forward.

Can Miami average at 35 before they keep "rolling" at 40?

Pat Nix not available? How about Todd Berry?

Or we could just hire Kendal Briles, who can fill both positions, and is a proven play caller and coach at every level.
All I remember is Kendal Briles had no answers as FSU’s OC vs Miami’s defense. Kept calling the same trick play over and over.

Maybe he’s been better since but that was a pretty bad look
