That 2023 class
What about the TE from Cinn that broke Kelce's records?I know Riley Williams wasn’t cheap. So I’m sure they can find a replacement with that $. Klare probably headed to Ohio State so for that price I would hope the replacement isn’t in the portal currently
Been bubbling for a while. Hoped it wouldn’t happen because I’m a big fan of the potential. Don’t believe it was football reasons.
Staff has been prepared and looking at options in the Portal. There is work to do there.
Miami's roster lists:You think a 6’7 265 pound TE and a 6’1 235 pound TE play the same position and do the same things?
One is a true TE and one is an H back. Schott is coming here to play H back and Gilbert is coming here to play TE. Gilbert may be ready to take that role but I’d prefer a bridge to him.
Cool. You found one 1 play that he sucked at blocking, when it looks like everybody else decided not to block either.
Yikes, yea go ahead and go home my guy.
You're definitely doing it a lot.**** this Dude had 7 catches for 100 something yards how will we ever replace that production??? smh fold the program (am i doing it right?)
Miami's roster lists:
Lofton at 6-4 230
Williams at 6-6 240.
They get that from his Tinder profile?Miami's roster lists:
Lofton at 6-4 230
Is that a CIS theory or did coaches actually say that?Thought Lofton was switching to RB?
You completely made that **** up lol. But hey, I am a firm believer, that if someone says anything with confidence, they can pull that **** off as the truth. It's admirable.2 completely different “starting” roles in our offense. Lofton can’t play Williams’ position and Williams can’t play Lofton’s position.
How’s his wham and hook blocking?
I don’t want Lofton in line very often and don’t want him lined up on a good 8 or 9 technique. No.What exactly do you think each guy can and can't be asked to do? Lofton can do it all as a TE, height be dammed.
If your point is merely that we need a TE2, sure. But this isn't like we are going into the season with McCormick as the starter who literally can't be used as a receiving threat. Cause Lofton is and can be an In-line TE. He can be flexed out. He can line up in the backfield H-back role
